Had my hospital appointment today. I'm happy but also pretty bummed out.

 

The doctor was a lovely woman, she immediately suggested that I have the tablets. I'll spoiler some of this because it's long.

 

 

I have two options for treatment. Ciclosporin and Methotrexate. Both come with sides effects, however Methotrexate is considerably stronger and damaging. Methotrexate is also the one I can have injected weekly.

She said both would benefit me BUT Methotrexate affects fertility and she agreed that I'm young and shouldn't risk anything like that. It'd kill me if I did something to lessen the chance of having children.

It also takes longer to work, but it would ease the pain in my joints. It's by far the most powerful of the two.

 

Anyway, so Ciclosporin is the first one I'm going to be on. I have to regular blood tests, checkups, blood pressure etc which is fine because these medications are immune suppressants so I'm probably going to get sick easily and I'll need these checkups. I get sick easily already BECAUSE of the psoriasis but I'm happy to get sick as long as I have clear skin.

 

I'm just kinda nervous and a bit sad about the issues it could cause. Right now I just want clear skin but I also don't want to damage my insides anymore. I'm just going to have to see how it goes I guess.

 

 

At least it's all out of the way now.

 

(Ha, I also left the chemist with two bags full of ointments and sodding creams, so many. So many and so big.)

Least you've taken steps to get something done about everything! The first stage usually is getting off your arse and helping yourself in the initial phase so kudos

Remember when I said "Libyans are mass-shooting" again? Yeah. That was in the morning. Right now its almost 11 P-motherf*ckin'-M and they're STILL ass-shooting each other again. This time, all over Tripoli. Yeah, sure, the fight is basically a 5 maybe 10min max fight, calm down for about 15min, then restart, but c'mon.

 

We even had close calls. The first one was in the very beginning of the morning when what seemed like a grenade exploded in our street (either that or the next one), my mom literally saw the flash. The second one (presumably a rocket or something, certainly not a grenade - dat sh*t's TOO LOUD to be a 'nade) exploded right above the garden/backyard. The blast was so loud when I ducked down I "tilted" my head too hard and I ended up hitting my cheek with my shoulder, hard, unintentionally. Go figure!

 

 

If this sh*t continue this way I'm NOT going to uni tomorrow. Because, even if I did go outside, the roads will be blocked with no way to reach uni (its 15mins away from our home, its actually close to the border of Tripoli whereas we live a good 5min distance from downtown). Problem is, the Admins of the college haven't said anything - usually they do. Last thing I want is missing out a class. I f*cked over Chemistry and Physics when I had to return home in 16/3/2016 and missed the class. That was High School, mind you. We're talking about college, and one of the hardest ones here, no less. Oh well.

MY PS2 controller is officially 100% useless, apparently the wires inside of the cable finally ripped apart. What did I expect? I mean, I've been holding it together with duct tape for the past three and a half years. Great, right when I was in the mood to replay RE 4.

As soon as I start to get sleepy a "BOOM" happen somewhere, knocking all the sleepiness I was packing. Fell asleep in midnight, woke up at 1 AM. Slept again. Woke up at 2. Slept. Woke up at 6. Eyes closed at 7. Woke up AGAIN at 8 (although that's me who woke up, not the f*ckers who were warring outside).
