I'm tired of these no good millinials asking for free stuff when they can't even be bothered to work more than 20 hours a week. They get upset about student loans when they don't realize they're for school and books, not paying for your overpriced luxury apartment, car payments, and smoking/drinking habits.

However, I don't think it is all millinials. I work with some and they aren't adverse to hard work, but they do seem to expect a higher payout.

 

It's almost an opposite of the 80's were people worked their asses off in the interest of making a sh*t ton of money...just so they could "show off".

I was kidding about that, i was extremely pissed off when I type that due to offline things that happened and then I logged on here and just snapped and let my emotions get the better of me.

Eh i'm p*ssed enough as it is at the moment after dealing with a little cable for my graphics card that was responsible for a half hour outage with 2 of my PC monitors.

Anyway I'm not sure what the heck is going on but my PC was fine this morning and I shut it off as I left the house, come back close to 4:00 PM today and first thing I did was jump on my PC, I hear my computer make it's start up beep and that but my Samsung SyncMaster P2350 screen is totally black. It's been doing this all week

Anyway I spend half hour trying to find why my Monitor was displaying a black screen, the little Led was on but was flashing red rapidly, okay perhaps it's a problem with the monitor

Swap over to my old Dell monitor I used with an older PC i bought off Gumtree years ago... Same problem, yellow light on the monitor power button and black screen. Now I should state that both my Monitors (Dell and Samsung) don't have HDMI ports so i'm forced to use the good old Blue RGB / DVI cable.

I take the side casing off my PC off and see a pin like this but the smaller end of it http://www.build-your-own-computer.net/image-files/6-pin-connector.jpg now the moment I saw that I had a feeling that was the likely culprit. One end of that cable is plugged into the Motherboard, the other just seems to magically stand up on top of the GC chip (My card faces downwards to the case, not up so I see the chip when I normally look at it)

Luckily I had taken a photo a few days back showing the inside of my PC so I pull out the good and trusty Cannon 505D and scroll through my pictures and I see the pin pictured above in it's spot where it should be, I move the pin back to where it should be and plug my PC back in and BAM! PC powers up and I have Picture again

Now I just gotta find the effort to switch my monitor back now, maybe after tea?

Got this idea from a TV show called 'Grumpy Old Men' and it's counterpart 'Grumpy Old Women' where middle-aged folk (celebrities) just rant on about all the daft things of the world which when I watch I agree with almost everything they've said and I ain't old (chronologically), before I start a few guidelines

To start off with, why oh why in the name of the wee man, is it that when you ask for 'cream' with your coffee or tea in cafes and small resturants you get this tiny little plastic pot thing with a tiny little drop and that's all it is of something which might have resembled cream, execpt it's never been near a cow in its life. And what do you get for it, something which only colours the coffee, does it flavour it... no, does it cool it down a lttle to stop it burning your tounge... no. And to top it off why do you get a little shard of plastic to stir it with, and no doubt if you've got it in one of those polystyrene cups you'll try frantically hard to stir it enough to disolve the sugar and burst a hole in the bottom of the cup

My phone is broken. It's the only phone I've ever had that I haven't smashed and it's busted. Won't charge. I've bought over geniine Apple chargers, regular cheap ones and nothing is working.

I can take apart a phone and often fix the issue, but this time there is nothing visibly wrong, it's just given up.

Fine by me, gives me an excuse to save a bit of money up and get an iPhone 6.

It's like the PS3 was designed to die under 10 years. My PS3 worked fine until March. Then all of a sudden it reset the resolution by itself and has since decided to lag every disc game. It might be the hard drive even though downloaded games and demos run as smooth as butter. But the lag for disc games makes them damn near unlayable. And this all happened out of the blue. I take care of it. What is it, designed to just f*ck off after a certain time? That's what it feels like.

Thank f*ck I don't have any of their TVs, it probably has a mechanism in its backside that's designed to detach the screws of the wallmount so it falls off. That way, Sony can blame you for being careless and charge you 200% of the TV's retail price to repair it.

My old Samsung phone (dunno what version/type) must have fell off a dozen times and nothing happened. How it died? The charge post got broken apparently. The thing stayed with me for a looooooooong time.

 

Then my "XTouch" piece of sh*t died just over a VERY small fall that my wacky Dell laptop survived TEN TIMES worse than it. As I was playing on my PS3 my phone fell off (I ALWAYS sit on my bed when I play pretty much everything, and usually I put my phone anywhere close to my legs, so sometimes getting up means the phone falling off) on its side and the back cover blasted open. Not a big deal, this happens with my current phone (GS5Mini). Problem? It stopped working. Nobody fixed it, so I just gave up.

The reason why my old Samsung phone died is that the external outpost is the same outpost for pretty much everything else. Current phones have at least two different outposts (one for charging, another for the headset). That one however only uses one outpost for everything. Since I was a "earbud maniac" I used the f*ck out of that outpost to the point it broke. It had nothing to do with falling.

 

And the whack-of-a-phone (XtouchSh*t) died over a SINGLE fall that isn't even that high when you think about it. The bed isn't that high and I was bent which means the edge of the bed will also be bent due to my weight which means the height isn't even that high. And it broke.

But seriously, you should get one of those big-ass cases that protect your phone from a fall. Cheeper than a new phone.

Hey...all you folks under 40 or whatever. Mark my words on this one. Eventually you will come to accept that you aren't indestructible. Oddly enough that part of aging is easy. But but but nothing prepares you for ear hair. I'm serious. I thought I was exempt. I really did. I can accept my grey, my thinning, my hair loss, but nothing prepares you for accepting ear hair. I'm honestly being very serious here.
