I think the insult sprung after I admitted to liking my 'fat nose' (to try make light of it) it was as if I opened a door to having every other facial feature called 'fat'. I think 'big' was too nice of a word for them to use. 'Fat' is more rude. These were kids though.. No insult was creative sadly.

My eyes are just very round and very large. They're the main focus on my face. Like I said above, 'fat eyes' was thought to be more hurtful than 'big eyes' so I suppose it just made sense back then.

Anyone played this sh*t Dark Souls? I started playing because I heard it's not a power fantasy and your character gets torn to shreds, forcing you to explore all your options and be strategic. But once I'd replayed the tutorial boss ten times I just threw down the controller. My flatmate said I'd feel great when I beat him but that's not really the point? I have a life to run and I can't move through a narrative at a crawl. At this rate it would take me months to beat the game and there's no way it's good enough to justify that kind of investment. I could learn a new language or take a ballroom dancing class in the time it would take to exhaust this game.

 

Also if I'm having this much trouble sober how can I play it stoned? How do you pretend to be an undead knight if you're sober? I only play video games while on the grill.

Have you played The Witcher 3? It's also challenging but has an engaging narrative and great atmosphere.

 

 

Also playable when drunk, not sure about stoned.

Can't believe she invites me out for a night to help me "come out of my shell" and then just completely abandons me! I was so angry with her, we're still not talking. Never ever giving in to pressure to go out again. I really wish people would understand what social anxiety really means. It didn't help me, it made it f*cking worse!

I know what that feels like, and I'm sorry you ended up in that position... for so many other people they don't understand why something so "simple" for them (just come out, youll have a good time!) can be so hard but I don't think your sister had bad intentions... i know, the road to hell... and maybe substances got in the way of her intentions, but... well... I don't know your sis, and what I really wanted to say was don't "never ever give in"... with the right friend, the right venue... you could have less than a torturous time.

My mind was going places for more violent but maybe I should calm down my blood pressure a little. Those machines are already started anyway so no way to throw coloured things in to them, be it a sock or maybe wall paint.
