I've grown up in a city with no majority race, we're mostly half breeds and racist attacks have been doled out on everyone FROM everyone.

 

White people have locs in their history too, why is that never brought up? Yes ballet is a sport but it didn't originate in africa so by your logic, if you don't come from a country ballet has historical roots in, you shouldn't partake in it.

So why is it okay for black people to have mohawks? Mohawks aren't from their culture, and I'm not sure on the exact numbers, but I'd take a guess and say that there's more black people then there are Pawnee( Midwestern Native American tribe from which the hairstyle originated from) people. Therefore making black people the dominate group. So is it only culture appropriation when white people do it?

Yes, that is cultural appropriation since black folks are more dominant to the Native American tribe you're speaking of.

Finally finished up a GTA video project I'm working on, exported as AVI, encoded to MKV then muxed the audio which took 3 hours to find out Sony Vegas decided to f*ck up a couple effects and make one of the clips vanish.

Totally why I refuse to ever do any video editing ever again. You can spend weeks to get 30 seconds of final footage. Oh the pain.

 

 

But speaking of technology. Recently I got used to using the 'snip' tool at work. I'm on win 10 here at home and I went to use it for the first time on win 10. What the f*ck!!!!! Why can't I just type 'snip' in the run box anymore???!!! Stupid f*cks! I had to find it off the menu and actually initiate the application then I even had to interact with it to start my snip. I want the fast 'snip' back!!! f*ckers!!!!

 

 

 

 

But on the brighter side I actually had a contractor show up at the house and do a good job and all...while I was at work even. It was a shocking surprise to come home and see that the huge tree I contracted to be removed and stump ground was actually gone. And no mess. First time in my life contracting work went smoothly.

It wasn't any serious work just a mess around stunt video to get some editing practice but it seems Vegas loves to sh*t itself on me and make clips disappear or f*ck up while rendering mp4s.

 

The more I hear of newer Windows the more it makes me want to stick with 7.

You're taking a symbol of minority cultures and used it simply because you think it looks cool. It's colonialist.

 

 

 

But which culture are you appropriating by wearing dreadlocks? Several cultural groups of various ethnicities can claim historic use of the hairstyle (as Sivis said).

 

It's about context and common sense. I'm not going to wear a keffiyeh and common sense should dictate that the only Americans to wear headdresses should be Natives.

I caved and got that new Hardee's burger. -4/10 never again.

( that's a negative 4 btw)

 

Two grumpy old ladies take my order, and then I get the burger and fries cold. The burger wouldn't even have tasted good if I got it hot though.

 

Now I have to wait like a week and eat like a rabbit in the mean time to burn off that burger and it's wasn't even worth it.

 

It's also been making feel like gagging from time to time my body didn't really like it either .
