I suck at chemistry. I spend hours trying to solve one question and it's starting to get really annoying.

I even go to tutoring and get online help, but it just doesn't stick with me.

That's why you keep pressing Ctrl+s after every few lines.

What software were you using? Ms.Word creates file versions after every few minutes and you can get back what's lost from that last auto save.

I don't understand how being in a hurry caused you to choose such a sh*tty program... is word buried down like 200 levels of folders or something?

If I'm ever typing on notepad or wordpad, I have a habit of pressing Ctrl+A Ctrl+C, everytime I pause to think. Same applies when I'm on phone/tablet. Have raged enough times in the past to get it as an instinctual habit. :p

Ed: Probably in 2006-7, I had this chinese phone that would reboot whenever too much pressure was applied on the touchscreen. I lost a lot of really loooooong unsent texts because previous ex would come out of nowhere and press the screen just to piss me off: one of the reasons why I had dumped that bimbo. Made me develop a habit of sending half written texts just as a precautionary measure.

I too have been burned in the past and save all my work like a madman... it's saved my ass more times than I can count.

I gotta say I often choose not to use Word just because of the couple of seconds of load time. f*ck...don't ever ask me to open Photoshop.

You can't beat how spoiled we've become.

It's the beginning of motorcycle season here and I shined up my bike this past weekend. Sure sure sure...rain all week now. f*ck!!

I stopped playing Destiny over a year ago because of how repetitively boring it was and I was severely addicted to it. Yesterday I saw the Taken King was on sale and I thought "I really feel like a decent FPS to play, maybe it wasn't that bad, maybe I just played it too much."

I played a few hours earlier, and remembered very quickly the reason why I quit in the first place. Outdated gear, grind to get some new gear, grind to level it up, grind to get the materials, grind to max everything out. Okay, now what? And the "story" sucks cholera.

Uf. Try maxing out Alteration and/or Alchemy in Skyrim. You'll f*cking hate yourself.

Alteration takes FOREVER to reach 50 to get Telekinesis, and even if you do get Telekinesis, unless you have the Dragonborn DLC and/or have Fortify Amteration @ 100%, you're f*cked.

I gave up on maxing out Alchemy the moment I've seen how difficult it is to level up sh*t. Ugh.

On the topic of Mods/Admins of sites, I swear this is the only site where Admins actually do their "job" correctly. In dA it takes you forever to report an user, and it takes ten times that to report any "art" that breaks any rule.

OT: My left elbow hurts like a motherf*cker ever since I took the blood test or whateverthef*ckever you call that out. I can't raise my hand for sh*t - I must keep it slightly higher up all the time or else it'll hurt. That bitch can't take blood samples for sh*t, ugh. :v:

Like when /r/The_Donald users brigade a certain subreddit I moderate, and they don't even bother to reply to my PMs asking them to do something about it. They could at least lie and say they're working on it. At least then I could pretend they aren't entirely f*cking useless.

Ah yeah, their action on brigading is, well, inaction. They'll ban some subreddits causing them bad press under the premise of "brigading is absolutely terrible" but basically their only rule is "don't cause us bad press".

A few weeks ago, someone from /r/socialism discovered /r/hookertalk, a place for men to share tips and discuss their experiences raping and abusing sex workers, which naturally violates reddit's terms of service. So a bunch of people reported it to the admins. And the admins, of course, did nothing. So then people from /r/socialism started spamming the subreddit, and that was when the admins stepped in. They actually tried to pull the whole "shame on you for brigading" thing on /r/socialism, despite the fact they did nothing to shut down a subreddit that was clearly in violation of their own rules. And now the Trump subreddit brigades the entire f*cking website, and they sit back and do nothing. Classic reddit.

The only social media site I use. Oh boy, if they choose to do this - which should become highly unlikely as lots of users are already threatening of abandoning the app - I will most definitely stop using it.

Why is it that these big internet site decide to start "fixing" what isn't broken? A change isn't always needed. Google, Instagram, all of these clowns need to realize that. I don't give a sh*t about which post is most important or not. I want to see the newest sh*t at the top and the oldest sh*t at the bottom. I want my new posts at the top and my old posts at the bottom. Period. Idiots.

Now this is just sad...

We had a sort of experiment with kindergarteners today earlier and they were given books with text and pictures

They tried to swipe their fingers on them as if those were a tablet and looked all confused when nothing happened...

I mean, I like modern technology as much as the next person but this is just ridiculous =.=

I'd believe that if it were 2216, not 2016.

As a new dad I am convinced your tale is a lie.

Gonna add that to my list of things that definitely happened.

It did; we're currently doing a project in school regarding all kinds of social communication things and one thing in it was how modern technology and social media affects us and the way we communicate as well as how early it starts

Our teacher proposed the idea of testing our kindergarteners since she was pretty sure something like that would happen

I did word it wrongly, of course the majority still turned pages and read and all, but it's still a bit "frightening" that some parents let their young children use these technologies at such an early age

Although that is just my opinion and one might disagree

Liar.

Also, you think a 2 year old shouldn't be allowed to what... TOUCH a piece of tech? What's the proper age then? 6?

Grow up. Be a parent, then ... well, then still keep your parenting opinions to yourself anyway. No one wants to hear it.
