My 22 months girl is still trying to have her own night schedule, though she keeps changing it on a daily basis.

Yeah well, the thing is, I'm 19 Years Old. To be exact: 18 years, 11 months and 2 weeks. I'm not a little child anymore. Even my mother constantly say that.

 

The fact that if I slept before or after 11:30 PM I'll end up waking up feeling like an elephant was resting on all my body. This is my "biological hour". I can't change it. Your daughter can, and she's still "too young" to have it her way. But I'm old, at least old enough to have things "my way" even if its just trivial like going to sleep.

 

Reason why I always make my own dinner around (or slightly after) 11:30 PM is that I won't be starving by the time its 11:30.

Yeah well um, you're missing the point of my post entirely.

 

Of course it'll change the older I get, that's pretty obvious even for someone who have almost 0 knowledge of life (aka me). Its just hard to explain.

 

Its, like, for someone around my age (19), it kinda makes sense for me to 'set things my way', like my sleep schedule. Ya know, the older you get (from my age to actually becoming an adult), the more you feel that you just want to have some sort of freedom, in anything. That's my case, especially since I've already got used to my sleep schedule to the point that if I headed to bed before or after 11:30 I won't sleep well, unless there's no school tomorrow.

 

Ah, I forgot to mention that this whole "can't sleep well after/before ____" thing applies upon waking up early in the morning, whereas if the next day is, say, Friday (weekend) then there's no reason to wake up at 7:30 AM.

IMHO, you're still VERY young, even for Libyan kids @home standards, so just enjoy your "tax free" life as much as you can.

Ah, the memories. You just reminded me of an incident that happened when I was 13.

 

I was obsessed with BMFM. I was watching an episode on YouTube, but since our internet connection was horrible back then (surprise, surprise GTAO subforum users!), I just left the YT video and went elsewhere. This was when my father wasn't an asshole.

 

When I returned I discovered that my mother was tooling around my laptop, jumping from one video to the next, successfully ruining my attempt to peacefully watch a BMFM video. Ugh, you had no idea how pissed I am that day.

 

 

I can remember something that happened waaay back in 2010 yet I can't remember what I had on lunch the past Sunday. Elephant-Memory power!

Everything works upside down in this lame country. Poor and around-average people (who can barely afford it) pay taxes, yet rich kids (who tosses money left and right over stupid things) don't. Don't even get me started about the electricity. In the past months/year blackouts almost happen every day (and I'm not talking about 1h long, we're talking about half-a-day long) yet the idiots STILL charges people to pay for them, even though the civilians haven't seen the "light" (pun intended) half the time.

 

And moving isn't an option either. To where? With my nonexistent English? Right now? When a simple $100 equals 350 LYD? And there's no country that allows people from Libya to travel to, excluding Tunisia (and even that is a far stretch)? Err, no thanks.

Old people and Tech:

My mother gave up being a teacher and moved to the tech world in the early 80's. Thank goodness. She is past the age of retirement but refuses to retire and anytime she does retire someone throws a bunch of money at her to consult.

 

She has never called me to solve a computer problem. She has called me to talk philosophical approaches to a technical needs/requirements of a project or system.

 

 

My father on the other hand spent his life in the insurance industry plus spent the tail end of his career playing golf. He calls me at night(after drinks) and it is an endless stream of "is it plugged in"? followed by "Yes"...and I know it isn't plugged in.

I'm double posting because I'm pissed and I sense an issue with censorship.

 

One of my idols happens to be a known communist. Very much a patriotic American and without him, his boldness, and the people he influenced I really think the US would be a different place today. I can't remember which president honored him(might have even been W but I half wanna say Clinton) - so that is saying something for communism in America.

 

But here is why I'm cranky:

I Twitch broadcast GTA games and having to come up with a radio station that doesn't get my audio muted by Twitch can be challenging. I thought I had the foolproof solution with using really old (pretty much public domain) folk music.

 

After like 2 hours of play tonight this got censored. I'm crying McCarthy.

Decided to take a break from Skyrim, so I go ahead and play Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Hmm, Ubisoft should've called it Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Retarded Edward Edition.

 

I always follow the same scheme every time I start a new game: follow the memories/sequences until Sequence 4, where you gain an almost full control and freedom to where you want to go, and I start building up my Jackdow, slowly, by taking over ships and/or forts, while giving the middle finger to the main questline, at least until I get what I can't live without. Currently I have "fully maxed" my ship (excluding Elite build-ups that require diving underwater because I'm waaay too early for dat sh*t).

 

Found a Galleon/Man'o'War. Too strong for my ship to handle, and my health bar isn't full to fight her. So I decided to pull the good ole plan: Stalk the bitch, "park" in front of her and mass-spam Circle to leave the Wheel and dive in the water, or if I'm lucky, grab anything in the enemy ship. I've been doing this tactic for awhile. It stalls the ship, stopping it where it is, and by killing everyone on the enemy ship all it takes to capture the ship is just ramming it, and doing any other stuff like blowing up the Powders/cutting the ship's Flag. Luckily, I managed to nag the ship as soon as I jumped off my ship. Killed everyone beneath. Now I need to climb up my way to kill the Gunners.....

...not. Stupid Edward. Since the ship isn't destroyed all three "pillars" are still up and running. Asshole Gunner #1 on the back end of the ship is dead. Asshole #2 is on the middle "pillar". So, obviously, I tried to be a smartass, and climb all the way to the top (on where I am standing), and use the walk-able ropes to get to the middle "pillar" tp kill the final fool. Stupid Edward is stupid, for whatever reasons when I reached the middle pillar he CONTINUED RUNNING IN MID-F*CKING-AIR, falling to his death.

 

Thank you so-f*cking-much Edward, now I just wasted a freaking 9 minutes thanks to your stupidity.

 

 

 

Anti-Complaint: I was hunting for Metal. In order to obtain all the Elite upgrades, you need approx. 2,400 Metal. The whole reason why I attacked the Galleon was because it had a buttload of Metal. The catch? After my death, 9 out of 10 ships now carry Metal, and I made double of what I could have possibly gotten (from 1,021 to 1937, said Man'o'War had 177 and I made 916 after my death).
