Last night I went to see Deadpool with my girlfriend. It was her idea. I'm not much for superhero films, and I feel like there's too many out now (and even more planned) for me to even get slightly caught up on. By the time I've watched them all and graced the relevant films with second viewings to make sure I haven't missed anything, I'll be queuing up for my pension muttering like Stan Lee whispering into a desk fan. Anyway, I get up to leave and let a couple up out of their row before me only to notice they'd brought a baby to the cinema. I was stunned - alright, the baby was about three or four months old and probably wouldn't know the word "fuck" if it was written on their highchair table but it isn't like the film is a slow moving, gently edited biopic about Morgan Freeman. It's full of explosions, loud music, tits and all that stuff. I'm surprised I didn't hear the little tyke crying. If you can afford cinema tickets nowadays, you can afford a babysitter.

Not that I'm defending taking kids to R rated movies, I remember when I went to see Event Horizon in the theater and this family of 6 with all the kids young, like 3-15 ranged, attended and was very noisy. I actually talked then twice about being quiet... while holding back my shock that these kids were being shown this terribly violent and scary movie... I worked there at the time so I felt better about being a dick I suppose, but taking a quiet infant to a movie seems perfectly acceptable. They don't know any better, and the logic that "if you can afford tickets you can afford (or even KNOW of) a babysitter for an infant is inaccurate to say the least. It's not a golden yacht they are buying, it's $20 worth of tickets and $20 worth of concessions if you get two sodas and like a large popcorn and one candy.

 

If the baby was noisy, I'd back you, but as a recent graduate of "baby-fatherhood" I'd say "good for them" as they more than likely haven't been out in the 3-4 months of that girl's short life so far and might not get an opportunity for many more months.

times have changed, first R movie i saw at the theaters was Bloodsport and i was 7 at the time. My dad took me and 2 of my cousins to watch it. it was fantastic . I feel like if you did that now Child Services would be coming for you

Last week I decide, yeah you know what? f*ck it, I will buy a bag of funsize Mars bars. Ain't had them in years thought why the f*ck not.

 

Boom, the motherf*cking ass f*cking, c*nt face f*cks announce this morning there is a recall on that exact product due to concerns over plastic found in a Snickers bar, from that same factory and batch.

 

What a pain in the f*cking dick, I was literally an hour away from eating one, relying on it to keep me awake for the day, due to lack of availability to obtain sustenance during a working week, and I saw that and now it has pissed me off.

 

The probability is always low, but f*ck off if I am going to be knee deep in the sh*t at work and having to spit it out and take f*cking forensic level photographs of a spat out chocolate bar onto a desk looking like I am taking centerfold pictures of a wet turd.

 

f*ck right off.

 

I guess it is better having your innerds stabbed and poisoned than finding a rat in your loaf of bread, like what happened a few years back.

I think I got a sinus/lung infection for the first time since I worked in the pallet factory years ago. Ugh. That ugly moment when you're writing something long, only to discover that its not in English (eg. Arabic). This is getting on my nerve.

 

Especially if the language you were using doesn't use English letters. At least if you're, say, French, it still works. But if your native language is something else like Arabic which is obviously isn't related to English (كساااااااااد )? You're f*cked, smh

 

Bonus point if you opened a tab and quickly typed something, forgetting to switch back in English, resulting in a f*cked up search.

Can't say I've ever had that problem. From a UK perspective being fluent in two languages as disparate as English and Arabic is pretty impressive. The writing system puts a lot of people off learning Arabic I think.
