Why are game developers getting soft these days? Bad sport? In a rated M crime game? Really? Why do those with the dumbest ideas always make the decisions?

 

That's not being soft, that's separating those who want to roam and those who want to grief.

 

Bull-f/cking-sh/t. The system is flawed and you know it's flawed. Just like insurance, just like all of those other kiddy aids that belong in rated E/T games.

We've had an unseasonably warm winter here with one big fat snowfall that only hung around for a few days thanks to the warm weather.

No sh*t - you didn't even need a jacket half the time.

 

 

...up until now.

 

It's not going to be above freezing until Tuesday or something. f*cking 9f degrees on Saturday!!!

I just miss simplicity. When I could go into a session and just f*ck around with no worries. No cops, no penalties, just flat out fun. I wouldn't complain about such limitations if we were given a care free session to do random stuff but we weren't and it's crap. I play GTA to do GTA stuff sometimes. Not do chores to obtain virtual stuff that lose their novelty factor within a couple of days.

The point is that it's just a mini-game. You don't have to play it, but it's just there. I actually quite liked golf in V..

IV's MP was bullsh*t, imo. It was just boring af. I dont hate IV, but it was just a disappointment after SA.

 

I never been in to bad sport and i blow up a lot of cars, a lot. I also recieve daily 2K for good behaviour, lol.

I think it mostly just adds to the immersion, to be able to go into a bar, buy a beer (which we can't except the unicorn) and play darts or pool (which we can't) makes/would make the game feel so much more alive. Everything there has a point other than set-decoration. I would like more mini-games to be added, honestly, like the afore mentioned pool and drinking everywhere there are drinks. Would like to be able to bowl and do all the stuff at the pier in Vespucci and the video games as well as go into the burger shot, up-n-atom and cluckin bells.

I just watched an interview with Bryan Fuller who is going to be heading the new CBS Star Trek TV show... in the interview he admits to not having been into either Star Trek or Star Wars before. Makes me pretty f*cking grumpy, because they keep giving control of my show to people who don't love it, when there are plenty of other fans in the industry who would be 100% better qualified.

 

EDIT: I mean, look at these new movies by JJ Abrams. They are basically Star Wars Fanfic with a Trek skin applied. I always say they are awesome new exciting sci-fi flicks and I enjoy them for that, plus I'm more than happy to see more energy and new fans invested in the franchise, but it's not truly Trek. JJ did wonders for Star Wars, and he was a fan. I was hoping for something similar with this.
