He actually said "Well I know i'm about to be down voted for this but i'll still say it anyway". anyway it looks like the moderator also removed he's post too so the matter is dead now but I'm a p*ssed also that my response to him went unheard of thanks to a mod removing my post first then he's a while later. He'll likely end up making another similar one later and start to wonder why he's post was removed.

 

Now the c*nt will never know the response I gave to him about he's smart dumb answer, the editor is a real person too and as I said he was using social media and other means of technology to let people become aware of the sh*t that was pulled on him while working for the State broadcaster. But that guy didn't seem to like it one bit that he was speaking up so that's why I had a go and a dig at him.

Right, first you've got self-service checkouts. I f*cking love those things when they don't have the issue I'm outlining below.

 

Secondly you've got a 5p charge for a plastic bag. That's fine, I don't mind. Save the planet.

 

What really pisses me off is the amount of self service machines in the UK that have removed the f*cking bags from the bagging areas because they don't trust their customers to declare how many bags they're taking. I'm already declaring what I'm buying from you and you're fine with that, give me a f*cking bag damn it. I'm not gonna steal a f*cking 5p item with my weekly shop.

 

It's like they're confused why the one poor f*cker left on the checkout has 9 or 10 people queuing yet nobody using the self service.

Yup that'll do it. You can't blame the Soda machine for stupidity.

 

To add to this; I had a similar scenario with a coffee vending machine where the cup never came down. WTF.

ordered a bunch of pc stuff on the 29th of december that all showed up bar one thing which is damn thermal paste. waited two weeks for nothing and hit them up on wednesday asking what the f*ck was going on. they asked for the address so i gave them it, they confirmed it'd been posted and that if i wanted they'd send a replacement so i said yes. wake up today and they've sent a refund so idk what the f*ck is going on

It's basically like a sales tactic. "I know I'm not supposed to do this, but...(sales pitch)". "Don't tell my boss, but...(sales pitch)".

 

And it works, Reddit eats that sh*t up. Acknowledging that your opinion is unpopular (even if it generally isn't), or that you're saying something you know you shouldn't, is a way to seem 'fair' or in some way 'noble' and 'brave'. It makes it seem like you have something to lose (your precious internet points) for stating your opinion. If there's one thing Reddit really likes--well besides racism, transphobia, misogyny, all other forms of bigotry, and Bernie Sanders--it's someone that's 'not afraid to speak their mind'. It doesn't even really have to matter what's actually on their mind, so long as it doesn't really challenge the status quo or their preconceived notions and biases too much.

yeah I mean, I still use reddit, but most of it's users are garbo people. It's much more noticeable browsing the default subs or /r/All. Some smaller subs are p great, tho. I actually moderate a couple of anarchist and communist subs lol.

Yeah, reddit's awful for pretty much all of its large subreddits, but when you ignore all that and use smaller subreddits you wonder how you managed in the first place.

So I got an ipad mini 4 for christmas that I put 200 on and my grandmother on my dad's side put 100 on it. Then I go ahead and buy an iPhone 6 thats cracked but works perfectly and sure enough I come to realize that the iPhone 6 is sh*t. Bad battery life, low storage nothing impressive other than the camera and the smoothness. And I hardly use the ipad but somehow love it more than any iphone.

Haha, funny story but I was given a months gold the other day for simply giving someone information about the EPA noise restrictions which can be found just be searching "EPA NSW Noise Restrictions". Easiest gold I've gotten yet ;P

 

Anyway the sun that's here now better stay, I don't want more cussing rain as it already flooded the driveway and the small drain at the bottom of it. I may also have someone coming over next week to install Equipment on the side of my house for the Fibre Internet so having the sun stay here would be a bonus, the DSL line is unfortunately on it's last legs because the duct is full of water and corroded but somehow still works, but just not as good as it would be without water in it.

So apparently the counselors don't want to acknowledge my parent's phone call about my schedule. Guess I'll see how they'll react on Tuesday when they schedule a conference with the Dean. Basically the 1st semester just ended. I had Government for 8th period. I have to take Economics starting Tuesday. My Government teacher teaches 8th period Economics in the same class and the same people are staying in that class - unless they're taking a different course 2nd semester. That was supposed to be the case with me, I mean the class is about half full and decently sized. Nope. They want to switch my 3rd period Earth & Space Science class to 8th period and put me in some crappy 3rd period Economics class with a fat teacher in some crowded class room. I heard my 3rd period teacher talk about how bad her 8th period class was and how loud it was. I also like my schedule the way it is and for it to be changed for seemingly no reason at all, of course I'm gonna be pissed. So I asked the counselor towards the beginning of the year why my schedule looked weird and she explained this with an attitude. I asked if I could change it and she said a simple no. Someone else used the "crowded" excuse which is funny because last time I checked we had 20 students when our class can hold damn near 40. Well my 2nd semester starts this Tuesday after MLKJ Day. I told my mom and she called the counselors. "At lunch" they said.

 

 

She left a message. No response. The weekend started. You better believe the sh*t's gonna get fixed. We've spoken to the Academic Dean before about a more serious issue and it got sorted out. She has the ability to change my schedule on the dot so we're skipping past those incompetent ass counselors and speaking to someone's who's actually in charge of it all. I'm not gonna get f*cked over for some dumb sh*t. This is what has been bugging me for the past week. Bitchy or not, I want it fixed.
