What does those Linux militants have in their minds when they say that Linux is easy to install/dual boot? Ubuntu instalation via flash drive is the less user-friend stuff I've ever seen due to the huge amount of black screens with unsolvable errors and the Mint version ain't detecting Windows 10 in my SSD :@@@

 

I've seen some tutorials and the installation is pretty overcomplicated for a simple user who wants to plug-'n-play as advertised, mainly when the OS can't detect a windows installation in the SSD :@@

By 'Mint detecting Windows 10' do you mean something during the installation or on GRUB? You gotta be more specific, because this can be taken out of context real easily. And Linux (let alone any large operating system) isn't just plug-n-play ready. It needs to be installed first. Linux can, however, jump between computers via swapping drives between computers and boot just fine.

 

Listen, I don't want to sound rude, but to install Linux (let alone any operating system) you have to follow the steps of installation. Installing an OS is (typically) broken down into a series of small, easy to understand steps. To install Linux via USB, you just gotta 'burn' that ISO to the USB via Pendrive Linux or something similar, boot it up via BIOS (or autoboot depending on your boot order) and wait for the OS to boot + show the installation infobox.

 

Computers do as they are instructed. When something goes wrong, 99% of the time it's the user's fault.

 

Don't worry. What I meant with Mint not detecting win10 in the installation process was the option not showing up when clicking on the installer icon at the testable desktop, it doesn't appears the option "install alongside Win10", instead it appears only the option to install over Win10. So it's kinda impossible to dual-boot due to Linux failing to detect windows in my SSD.

I always wanted to vent this off but I keep forgetting.

 

I've always used my GMail account as a way to stay up-to-date with every thread I post in. But sometimes GMail starts playing tricks on me. I lost count of how many times somebody posts in any GTAF thread, only not to receive any warning/heads-up/etc. No, its not "lag" (I know that I won't get a headsup immediately - this happens), because when I visit said thread I can clearly see that person's post here, yet nothing on GMail's part. Sometimes it even IGNORES that Person A posted in, say, Quotable Notables @ GTAF, then gives me a heads-up that Person B posted there.

 

Other times in the Elimination games, sometimes when someone votes, THIS happens. Its painful to see what did they actually Upvoted or Downvoted.

Pro-Tip: Stop using email updates, since the change to this forum software they don't work out the same as they used to, it's an IPBoard issue not a GTAForums issue.

 

Best advise I can give you is to opt out of emails (except notification of likes, cause they're nice to get). Then use your Content page, which for you is found here or by clicking your name at the top then clicking My Content, and use this as your forum "homepage". Then click on "Topics and Posts" under "See this members" to refresh the page. When there is a new post the blue envelope next to the topic will let you know, and then middle click or right click and open in new tab/window, whatever your preference is, and keep up to date with topics that way.

Luckily a mod came by after I shortly posted about the thread going downhill because of the crap people were posting trying to troll each other with, So i'm thankful that it's been cleaned up.

I'm mainly talking about the V Area, I rarely visit the Online area because there's nothing there for me to discuss or talk about since I'm not really a online player. Most of not all of my business is mainly in the GTAV sub forum area.

 

The V area if you hadn't realized was going A. Ok until the possibility of a DLC announcement for V came up, that's when the trolls and the sh*t posters came in and trashed the threads with fake leaked screenshots & posts that they thought people would fall for. lolno, the V area always sucked, it's full of people like Osho and XenoxX, which means people that hate the game but visit everydayand rabidly idiotic fanboys, it's like Groundhog Day over there, is always whining, DLC threads, Fuzzknucles arguing with Official General, elitist retards vomiting the same regurgitated complaints and frowning onto "casuals" , V fanboys insulting critics and people like Numa Yay trolling with sh*tty threads....

 

Everyone points the online board as the source of retardness, but the V section is worst, i stopped visiting months ago, can't understand how ~Tiger~ has such a good attitude if he's in charge of moderating those hellholes.

What mod could've ruined the game? I removed all the sh*t I got yesterday when it started acting weird excluding one sword mod. Seems to me that the other sword mods are feeling jealous.

We had a mini Blackout the other day while everyone was asleep around 1-4 AM

 

Power went out, and came back on, How long it was out for I don't know but I was informed that when I woke up a Blackout occurred. Ever since then there's been a Digital beep that sounds like the PS3/PS4 beep when you turn on the console. I thought it was that at first and the beeping only occurred the night after the blackout strangely. I went to investigate and all Playstation consoles were turned off (Well Standby) and showing the Red LED light so it couldn't have been that and went to see if it was the Smoke detector as I believe it's powered or hooked up to the electricity circuit, not that either.

 

I chalked it down to the Microwave, nope not even that is the culprit. What ever the heck it is I have no clue. all I can say is that it started going off the night after the black out and f*cking keeps me awake because it's loud and makes you feel eerie when the houses is all dark and everything else is dead silent.

 

I may sound crazy about this but Trust me this is real and I'm still tracking down what ever the heck this annoying beep is.

My parents keep telling me I'm going somewhere last minute, and like this is second day in a row I had to go out in public looking like sh*t because I wasn't didn't get myself prepared for the day soon enough.

 

Like , if I knew at which hour I needed to be ready by, things would be so much better.

Some chick is using my Phone number for her bills and in the last two weeks i've been getting calls non-stop from bill collectors.

 

Even though i told them several times they have the wrong number they keep calling so i block the number, They just call with a difference number.

The power went out while I was downloading an update on my PS4. It got caused by my parents spilling water on the igniter for the hob and it didn't stop trying to ignite for half an hour, so it would *click* then we'd pray for it to stop and *click* and, I don't know I got pissed off.

I had something Similar the other night except I wasn't running but my legs felt like they were vibrating madly and I couldn't get up or move properly. I can't recall if I was dreaming or if I was awake at the time.

 

Only part I remember is the above and that I was in my bed at the time. Spooky sh*t indeed.
