I'm grumpy because I can't get this ear-worm out of my head.

I promised myself that I'd restrain my good taste in music for my own safety

But dammit.

I gave in.

But I wouldn't say my suffering is on-par with people from third world countries.

Aaaand Skyrim crashed again. YAY! :bored:

Ya know wut? If I had the Legendary Edition on my PS3 I would've abandoned the buggy PC port eras ago. :v:

Should I be afraid to ask how many hours you put into skyrim a day?

God f*cking damnit. Sick of my state government lowering the speed limits everywhere. The cars are getting newer - braking distances have serverly decreased, more police on road, cameras to keep you in check and they still have to lower them.

We have a road that used to be 100 kms/h that has been recently changed right down to 70. It came in 3 stages over the years and their excuse for lowering it is 'people are continuing to do under the speed limit in this area'. Are you joking? My mum does 15 kms under everywhere she goes - hell, she takes corners at literally 20 kms/h but that doesn't mean we lower everything to suit them.

Also - stick your double demerit/fines Christmas season up your ass WA police

Argh. End rant.

Also - sorry if it's in the wrong place. I'm grumpy, I feel old - it was close enough for me lol

How old would one must be to post in this thread?

I don't know. You could be any age I guess.

What does those Linux militants have in their minds when they say that Linux is easy to install/dual boot? Ubuntu instalation via flash drive is the less user-friend stuff I've ever seen due to the huge amount of black screens with unsolvable errors and the Mint version ain't detecting Windows 10 in my SSD :@@@

I've seen some tutorials and the installation is pretty overcomplicated for a simple user who wants to plug-'n-play as advertised, mainly when the OS can't detect a windows installation in the SSD :@@

Windows and Linux guy here. So much wrong with this statement.

By 'Mint detecting Windows 10' do you mean something during the installation or on GRUB? You gotta be more specific, because this can be taken out of context real easily. And Linux (let alone any large operating system) isn't just plug-n-play ready. It needs to be installed first. Linux can, however, jump between computers via swapping drives between computers and boot just fine.

Listen, I don't want to sound rude, but to install Linux (let alone any operating system) you have to follow the steps of installation. Installing an OS is (typically) broken down into a series of small, easy to understand steps. To install Linux via USB, you just gotta 'burn' that ISO to the USB via Pendrive Linux or something similar, boot it up via BIOS (or autoboot depending on your boot order) and wait for the OS to boot + show the installation infobox.

Computers do as they are instructed. When something goes wrong, 99% of the time it's the user's fault.

Really, it's 2015 and people still can't manage to install an OS?

Umm..... Ummmmmm..... not sure. But I do know its a sh*tload of hours almost non-stop. And let's not forget the over 63 mods that I can't play without any of them

Which reminds me of something.....

Skyrim > Over 63 mods > Almost flawless, and (kind of) rarely crash. Only when I play for a long time.

GTA:SA > Less than 8 mods (ONLY RESKINS!!!) > Crashes almost immediately. And I'm using GGMM!

Remember that one recent time we had a white christmas? And then last year there was literally no snow where I lived.

Weather, please, get it together.

Today was cold as f*ck. TWO jeans and my legs almost froze. Not to mention how many shirts I wore.

Come on Rain, for f*ck's sake. RAIN!

Don't worry. What I meant with Mint not detecting win10 in the installation process was the option not showing up when clicking on the installer icon at the testable desktop, it doesn't appears the option "install alongside Win10", instead it appears only the option to install over Win10. So it's kinda impossible to dual-boot due to Linux failing to detect windows in my SSD.

women are bitches with an exaggerated sense of entitlement.

You only feel that way because you're a f*cking c*nt with an extremely over-exaggerated sense of entitlement yourself.

Get the f*ck over yourself you weak bitch.

There's a saying that goes something like if you smell sh*te everywhere you go, check under your shoe.

Women are, surprising at it may seem, just as human as the rest of us totally never-bitchy-exaggerated-self-entitled perfect men. If you have a problem with one or two you can't exactly say "all women are...", but if all the women you know are seemingly like that it may be a problem on your end.

cameras to keep you in check

These things only exist for revenue raising, lol. They don't save lives. My dad did 112km/h in a 110km/h speed limit freeway, $162 fine. Absolutely ridiculous.

also Mint/Ubuntu is f*cking piss easy to install literally a five year old could do it so if you can't do it I wouldn't be blaming the OS.

Man this is Probably the worst time to be grumpy but Windows is P*ssing me off tonight.

I have Windows 8 PRO (Yes 8 not 8.1) I've been a little lazy upgrading the OS since my PC just came with Pro installed by default and I've just relied on that since.

I had some spare time tonight and decided, yeah why not upgrade to 8.1 I have everything (Patches, Updates etc) I need to do it. Enter my serial into the 8.1 upgrade and away we go.... Oh wait "We can't connect right now" check your internet connection.... WTF my internet connection is fine thank you, Why the F*ck have I got to jump through hoops to do stuff. FFS this shouldn't be happening, I should just be able to upgrade at a few clicks of a button but no, I gotta play games with Windows to do anything :/

So much for upgrading, Guess i'll be one of the few stuck behind with 8 thanks to Windows always having it's moments (I know my PC in and out and I would know if it was a problem on myside) It seems to likely be a problem with connection to the sever through which is nothing I can likely do to fix.

We had a referendum yesterday here in Slovenia regarding a new family law, the focal point being LGBT rights to adoption - the majority voted against.

Play other games and I think your tone about Online would differ.

For better or for worse?

For worse, you'd realize just how sloppy the gameplay and mission design really are.

Oh I thought you were talking about the community. That's why I said "Flaws and all". Then again, I don't play a wide variety of games.

That honestly sounds like an issue with Windows 10 locking itself up or something of the like, not Linux.
