Oh my freaking lord. This new Windows 10 update did nothing but give my computer cancer. The start menu just randomly stops working for no reason at all and restarting Explorer does nothing but just permanently crash it, so every time this bullsh*t happens, I have to restart.

First WIndows 8.1 breaks Wifi, then this Windows 10.1 bullsh*t wannabe introduces this? I'm a giant moron if I keep automatic updates on.

I guess you cannot turn off Windows update in Windows 10. MS wants it to be always up-to-date. There is a trick though, you can set your connection as 'metered' and it won't download the updates.

Are you on the insider program? I am on the fast cycle and the latest update seems quite fluid on my laptop.

 

Nope. Each successive update seems to wreak havoc on my system in some form. I've noticed I get way more BSOD's now since the update too. Nothing I open taxes my system so I have no idea what the cause might be.

 

How about taking a backup and doing a clean install? Nothing like starting anew. I only had an issue with Windows 10 once and that was during the tech preview.

As much stick as the drivers of various German marques get, they're nowhere near as monstrously sh*te as basically anyone driving a Korean or Malaysian car, geriatrics in small Hondas and Nissans, the Vauxhall Insignia, Nissan Qashqai or luxury 4x4s. Or white vans.

I've long had a game I play on single carriageway roads with the 40mph everywhere brigade- I try and see what the highest speed I can attain whilst passing them is. It's hilarious how angry some of them get when you pass them at double the speed they've decided is appropriate to force everyone to do.

Since my car handles pretty well, i am able to turn on intersections faster than the normal crawl that most people do (both left and right turns).

 

Ive gotten plenty of yelling even though i am nowhere close to understeering into a curb or a car (since i have a fwd car)

 

Its fun whipping cars around those 25 mph cloverleafs going 50 plus though

i'm 33 years old and i never had a gf but i am getting to that point in life where i think about the future and not really wanting to die alone. but the sad fact is is that i am bottom of the barrel - i live with my parents because i cant afford a house of my own (responsibility changing to looking after them and taking on the bills), i work and my commute takes up a total of 4 hours of my day, i never had a gf at school or university, i am shy, i play videogames because its a rare source of fun, i am not tall or strong, slowly getting fat because again eating is another source of rare pleasure, i dont really care much about things like whats happening in the news etc, i dont have a smartphone, i like older TV and films, i have rarely travelled, i am not white, i love animals, and my doctor keeps telling me i have mild depression but i dont feel anything - i dont feel sad, more like tired alot of the time - and i am slowly getting over my anxiety issues, i dont like people

Might want to upgrade to a smart phone so you can easily take pictures and join a dating site. The great thing about today is you can find people in similar situations with similar likes (and similar race if that's important to you). I have to ask, why do you live so far from work that pays so bad you can't afford rent?

That's basically how I feel most of the time. I was told I had depression as well, but I don't always feel sad. Usually I'm numb, or just feeling empty. That's how depression is for a lot of people.

My psychiatrist told isnt exactly a depression but is part of that "family". Basically is a very light sort of depression that affects for very long periods of time and can escalate into a depression.

i live far from work as its the only job i can get otherwise i'll have to settle for minimum wage and shelf stacking in crappy sales in my home town. plus i dont want to stay here forever and work is like a getaway from home, and home is a getaway from working in the city.

Doesn't really bother me tbh, I just assume they know the area and it's a hotspot for cars parked way too close to the junction. Unfortunately, it's a common occurrence in this area.

Well none of the dating sites I know of, at least, can actually make you white, but it can help you only look for white women. You could always use photoshop, but that seems a tad dishonest, to say the least.

What does those Linux militants have in their minds when they say that Linux is easy to install/dual boot? Ubuntu instalation via flash drive is the less user-friend stuff I've ever seen due to the huge amount of black screens with unsolvable errors and the Mint version ain't detecting Windows 10 in my SSD :@@@

 

I've seen some tutorials and the installation is pretty overcomplicated for a simple user who wants to plug-'n-play as advertised, mainly when the OS can't detect a windows installation in the SSD :@@
