Words cannot express how much I am really, extremely, very, incredibly, absolutey, fffffffffffffabulously pissed off I am right now. Some of you may have noticed me complaining about buying faulty laptops (quick recap, first had a faulty touchpad, second kept crashing then died). Well I got a third.

 

As soon as I opened it and turned it on, I was all "Are you f***ing kidding me?" The screens backlights weren't working and the screen keeps flickering. I thought it would be third time lucky, but noooo!

Today my phone suffered a slip an fall resulting having now a cracked screen. OMG! Why!

My reaction seeing my screen servery damaged (watch Carlton running crazy on video) my phone is going to need technical attention. New screen, charger board ect, ect and more ect.

Using a 'naked' phone comes with the drawback of knowing how to take care of your stuff. /s

 

On a serious note though... If you can't take care of your phone then you shouldn't have a phone, failing that, it should just be some cheap ass featurephone.

Someone today asked me why my phone has so many battle scars. It's an HTC m8 and I drop it all the time. I like metal phones and I don't use a case. As long as the screen stays sound I don't really care about the nicks and sh*t.

 

 

 

I'm sure I've ranted about this in the past, but I saw two examples in a row today when I went on a beer run:

Double parking your car next to an available parking spot. What the f*ck people? Parallel your ass in the spot so that the rest of traffic can flow like normal. f*ckers. Sure sure sure, you may only be sitting there for a minute waiting to pick someone up or something, but you are selfishly f*cking a bunch of other people up. Not even just the traffic hazards of cars having to cross into oncoming traffic in order to get around you, but you are blocking a f*cking parking spot - they aren't always easy to come by ya know. What about the children? Won't someone think of the children?

Spend the extra dollar and go higher end HTC.

 

Totally serious, totally honest recommendation. Go to the store and hold an HTC in your hand compared to a Galaxy.

 

Almost all carriers allow for you to prevision the payments as part of your bill to make the actual cost of the phone not so scary.

Have any of you Galaxy guys ever held a metal HTC phone? Look...they don't pay me or anything, but really...hold them side by side sometime. *Not one of the cheap ass HTCs...one of the good ones.

 

I was thinking about saving a couple of dollars by switching my wife to a Galaxy when she needed a new phone. After handling the Galaxy I just couldn't bring myself to do it. They feel like breakable, light pieces of plastic. Like if it was a cold winter day I'd fear the plastic would just crack at any bump.

See that's crazy and what makes it a challenge when shopping for a "Brand New" phone. Then the majority of buyers are only after the big screens, which I really don't care for if the specs don't meet my criteria. But in theory is the phone's selling point.

Been using the trusty old 920 myself. After my 925 was lost but not forgotten to a washing machine, I worked with android for a while (rooted and stuff) but couldn't be friends with the laggy sh*t, it was a cheap ass android tablet anyway and I had the 920 lying around.

Oh my freaking lord. This new Windows 10 update did nothing but give my computer cancer. The start menu just randomly stops working for no reason at all and restarting Explorer does nothing but just permanently crash it, so every time this bullsh*t happens, I have to restart.

First WIndows 8.1 breaks Wifi, then this Windows 10.1 bullsh*t wannabe introduces this? I'm a giant moron if I keep automatic updates on.

I guess you cannot turn off Windows update in Windows 10. MS wants it to be always up-to-date. There is a trick though, you can set your connection as 'metered' and it won't download the updates.

Meh. I must have dropped my old Samsung well over 20 times and nothing too shady happened to it. Aside from a few scratches here and there its totally "clean".

 

Its side is kinda broken though - the "area" where you plug it to charge broke I guess. It stopped charging which means it stopped working after a few days.

Nope. Each successive update seems to wreak havoc on my system in some form. I've noticed I get way more BSOD's now since the update too. Nothing I open taxes my system so I have no idea what the cause might be.

Trying to download this mod ..... but it takes forever to download. "2 Hours" for a freaking 73.9 MB? Really?

 

And for some reason that stupid Falkreath Cave-House mod refuses to work. Threw the files in the Data folder as usual, started the game, nothing. Meh, this happens sometimes - you need to start the game twice at least for a mod (that uses a .bsa file) to work. Tried it twice, nothing. Opened the Data Files - the mod is checked. Then why are you refusing to work? fffs.

 

UPDATE: I kept my laptop on and left it when I hanged out with the rest of my family. FINALLY this stupid thing downloaded. smh
