I miss the days were gaming was simple and did not require first the game to come out and then 2 more updates before it became fully playable and 5 more to become enjoyable playing.

i mean...ok...games became more complicated to program but back in my old times they released demos and beta versions before they released the real thing so even a complicated game felt right at day one

 

Also i realy miss manuals...why the hell are there no manuals anymore ?

Its realy great to have a piece of paper next to you with the basic controls and not so basic controlls on along with a few tips and tricks.

these days you only get a real manual if you buy a special edition and in such case the manual is so sh*tty constructed, with usefull info and useless astetic things like cool looking images mixed with eachother up on the same page, you realy wonder if they were smoking weed when they designed the thing.

I also somehow loved the smell when opening a manual....realy miss having them as a standard.

These days...if you dont have youre pc in the same room youre gonna have to walk a lot to go trough any game thats a tad complicated...while on the way avoiding all posible spoilers posted on the internet of said game.

Well most manuals are included on the disc imo it makes it easier for me then flipping through a manual which I never read when I bought games back then.....

Rockstar is pissing me off. You know how you can take photos then save them somewhere and then delete them to make room for more pictures? Rinse and repeat? Well I've noticed that some of my older images have been disappearing being replaced with 0_0.jpg.

 

 

Really really sh*tty. Thank goodness I started saving my images to Drive over the summer. It was too late for some images though.

If you are posting the photos directly from Snapmatic instead of posting the saved photo that is reason why you get that, Because the image link no longer exist once you've deleted the picture, to avoid this in the future post the saved photo instead of the photo directly from snapmatic itself

 

Check out a site called gamesnapclub, It's a photo hosting site for snapmatic photos, You can save which photos you want by clicking the save photo icon when looking at your photos in snapmatich...It was created by member Furry_Monkey

 

I'm grumpy because my TV which is less than a year old is now busted beyond repair, I heard a loud crash in the living room and when i went to go check what it was assuming the dog knocked something over i looked and my TV is face down on the entertaiment center i pick it up and it's cracked and white lines all over the place.

 

I looked to see what happened because it was secured to a wall mount by screws that were really tight, But apperently a piece of the wallmount that is suppose to be secured to the mount itself came loose which caused the TV to come loose and smash to the floor

I have a 50 inch television (back in the day where 2 people needed to lift it because it was heavy) wall mounted for years and It has not fallen off. Its all in the quality of the mount and where you mount it. I also have a smaller wall mounted television and its fine

 

Just setting a huge television on a stand has a chance to just fall off due to the poor weight distribution of large televisions (its really top heavy and skinny width wise)

 

If you are super paranoid, Just mount the television both ways

I've had my TV installed by dudes from the retail shop it was bought from. Occasionally I hear thuds from the wall mount and I have no idea if I should be concerned.

Playing Skyrim on PC, final The Companions Quest. Decided to follow the whole team instead of simply Fast Traveling to to Winterhold then working my way to Ysgramor's Tomb.

 

Stupid-ass AI. Once we reached Dawnstar (which is fairly close to the Tomb) the trio kept coming back and forth like idiots. Climb up the hill 'till you reach Night Temple or whatever that place's name, only to go down. Three times. Grew tired so I left the gang of idiots and headed on my own.

 

As soon as I get close to the Sea of Ghosts (the Tomb is in an island), my laptop froze. Not sure if its my laptop's fault or the game's. Either way, can't really complain. Been "Sessioning" for maybe 4 hours(?) with no break for my laptop. I'm not complaining about my laptop actually freezing, its because the game hasn't Auto-Saved anywhere close to the 'crash site' which means I have to run all the way back to Winterhold. smh

 

 

Circle members, I swear. If this happen, I'll ditch your brainless asses and take a carriage to Winterhold. I ain't going with you anymore!

Another complaint about PC Skyrim: The Legendary Edition (legendary edition my ass!).

 

Dumb Esbern is jealous from the Greybeards so he decided to copy-cat them by not speaking at all, even though the Subtitles indicate that he IS speaking. This annoying bug broke THREE Quests. Anyway, that't not the real complaint since I can simply use the setstage MQ[Quest ID here] [Quest Stage here] to proceed.

 

One of the ways to fix Esbern being speechless during A Cornered Rat (first broken mission thanks to our Greybeard wannabe friend here) is by opening the Console Commands then clicking on the closed door then entering disable. By doing so the door will 'disappear' and one can pass through it as if its not there. Been there done that. Problem is, I forgot to Enable it again and clicked on that asshole Esbern to disable-enable him.... whoops, door is now forever invisible. sh*t.

 

 

Yay, now I can't Enable that stupid door again. Thank you so much Esbern! And you're expecting me to do your bidding and kill an almost-bug-free innocent dragon? BAH! I hate The Blades....

It's been two years since I properly played Skyrim, but I am still thoroughly pissed that a bug in the game stopped me from owning the murder house in Windhelm. I finished the civil war questline before doing any of the murder quests, which replaced the Ulfric's butler or whatever you call them, who is supposed to help me catch the murderer which leads me to him giving me the house as a reward.

Easiest way to avoid this is by simply 'halting' your Civil War progress then do the Blood on The Ice Quest, and then proceed through the CW questline. Works every time.

 

You reminded me of another thing to bitch about Skyrim. Its not an actual Quest bug, but still. This was way back when I was still stuck with the PS3 version:

 

When I was Wiki'ing through Quests I heard that finishing Bound Until Death (Dark Brotherhood Main Quest) before Solitude's Special Job (weakasssin Thieves Guild Quest), as soon as you start the latter the quest will fail for some reason. After that I decided to do each Questline alone in a certain manner: The Companion first (if I want to be a Werewolf), The College of Winterhold (Invisibility spell ), Thieves Guild (just for Chillrend), Dark Brotherhood and then finally the Civil War - Stormcloaks (just to clean my 1,580 bounty - thank you so much Astrid!).

 

Finished the "main" Questline for the Thieves Guild, itching to 100% it so I can move on to my favorite Guild in the whole game. Finishing the "jobs" to unlock the Special Jobs business was already a chore - I decided to aim for one City for each. Finished Markarth, then Solitude and Windhelm. Riften was already at control so the only thing left was Whiterun. finally unlocked that lame Special Job for Whiterun. Finished it with ease: Under New Management, the final mission for the Thieves Guild, has started. As soon as I exit The Drunken Huntsman tavern, my PS3 froze.
