Really tempted to start taking some people's cats away.

Just had another Telemarketer call my phone during lunch. Boy was I not pleased. Seeing as this was my first conversation with a telemarketer (I just let someone else deal with them if they called) The only thing I could think of is "Telstra". Oh course that ended up being a good idea.

 

What was said

 

Tom - Hi this is Tom from some Insurance company

Me - Who is this?

Tom - This is tom from such and such Insurance.

Me - Hi tom, My name is Mark and you have just made it through to Telstra's complaints department.. How can i be of assistance?

Tom - Oh so sorry... BEEP BEEP BEEP and the call hangs up. ( I think i scared him into thinking I was Telstra and that I would shut down he's phone line for bad telemarketing)

I know it's not a good idea to impersonate a carrier or communications company because it's difficult to tell who's real and whose not. But I just wanted to get on with my lunch break + These people called me during my break so they deserve all the confusion and trouble and fear they get.

It turns out that cat was sick, so my mother let him in before she left.

 

 

On another note, last night she let another sick cat in and I just had to dispose of it. Good riddance, mother.

If you are talking about me, well I did. I found a young kitten that could barely stand on her feet. I fed her for 4 days only to find her mother, alongside her brothers. Was difficult to leave the cat mother take care of the young kitten I found, not because of a personal matter, the bitch decided to 'dump' her mother. I had to place her on her mother - while running the risk of the older cat to jump on my face - then run away without making noise.

 

Now I have 3 new kittens that I'm thinking about keeping once they become old enough.

 

 

That's cool! I had two cats a few years ago. The problem is when the little assholes grow up and have sex with each other. Now there's so many cats around. Damn it, they're annoying sometimes.

Skyrim hates me.

 

Yesterday I was playing Skyrim on PC all fine and dandy. Then all of a sudden the screen went pitch-black. I usually plug my PC's charger when I want to play a "high-end" game but somehow forgot about it this time, so the first thing I though was that the battery went extremely low. I plugged my PC to charge and grabbed it again, but nothing. I pressed the Power key hoping that it'll restart, but nothing. I hard-shut it down and retried. It showed the "Press F1 to show system nonsense wawawawa" for a half second like the usual but after that, nothing. I got pissed so I turned it off.

 

Today I fixed my PC (turns out it just needed a Software), re-installed the game, but the game is slooooooooooooooooow. Slow as hell. Turning the camera around is next to IMPOSSIBLE if you are moving. Its ridiculous. As someone who's obsessed with bows, its annoying.

 

 

TL;DR: Skyrim hates my laptop so I needed to fix it by doing a Software and after the re install everything is ultra-slow to the point that you can't turn the camera around while moving at the same time.

Update about the Skyrim issue. Turns out the same sh*t happens with every game. Just tried Doom 3: BFG Edition and I couldn't turn until I stopped. There's some kind of an issue with the mouseboard apparently.

 

At least I can use a USB Mouse all good. Its just that using a Mouse USB (or a mouse in general) is a pain in the ass. The last time I played SA on PC I got my ass handed to me THREE TIMES before I got used to it. At least I can make myself Invincible in Skyrim and Doom until I get the hang of it or I fix the damn board. smh.

You should see my friend, I'm going to call him "Toby" for the sake of this thread and privacy crap. Well anyway you can't go nowhere with him to eat, cause if you do? It's interesting that humans are directly responsible for both tragedies. One major difference is in only one of those scenarios are humans also the victims.

 

The outrage is warranted, honestly in BOTH cases. I've seen so many meme's that boil down to "People were outraged at cecil, why aren't you mad at X?" In ALMOST ALL CASES "X" is something that people are mad about to. Outrage and the desire to change society for the better aren't "zero-sum" games, there is room to be mad a cecil AND the starvation of humans/dead soldiers in foreign wars/pollution of waters or whatever cause you want to insert.
