I bought the Legendary Edition of Skyrim on PC just so I can get the 3 DLC's only to discover that they are not working or.... something.

  1. I can't buy a plot of land so I can build my own house even after I helped the Jarl of Falkreath and became Thane of the region (Heartfires DLC);
  2. I can't adopt children nor can I buy a children bed for my home in Riften (Heartfires DLC);
  3. I can't join the Dawnguard or the Vampire Clan (Dawnguard)
  4. And I'm not even sure how to start the Dragonborn DLC storyline;
  5. Console Commands related to the DLC's don't work (I can't add, say, Dawnguard Rune Axe to my inventory using the player.additem command).

And when I check the game files I can clearly see the DLC files (dawnguard.bsa+dawnguard.esm, heartfires.bsa+heartfires.esm, and dragonborn.bsa+dragonborn.esm) and I have no idea how to 'activate' them. Anybody knows that the hell is going on?

Was on a Public Service bus this morning and half of the route picks up school children and takes them to school.

This Kid got on (I recon around 6 - 8 range) sits up the front on the left side of the bus and 2 minuets into the ride he says "I took a sh*t" Hey Mr driver I took a "Sh*t" Want to know about it? (This was a bus with broken A/C and I thought I was going to die because the windows don't open besides the emergency exit window) Then we went over a small bump and the kid said "Fkin bump".

My driver went red in the face because he really thought the kid had taken a sh*t for real and the seats were probably stained or smelly.

Nope No Sh*ts were done, the truth was (According to the driver) that the kid probably picked up the word from somewhere (Likely he's parents) and believed it's a everyday word that he can use.

I just wonder where such language was found out from. Just hope he's parents are giving him a lecture about swearing in public. I just can't stand hearing little kids swear for some reason.

Unfortunately, in that case it may have been the Parents that taught that child such language. Children at that age can be very impressionable.

My toaster of 10+ years has finally died. Very annoying because the only way to make this gluten free bread passable taste wise is to toast it.

I'm sorry for your loss. PM Rusty Balls if you need someone to talk to.

You wanna talk about the real junk? If I ever slip, I'll be banned, cause I'm the garbageman.

Rusty Balls isn't here, guys. I'll proxy:

"Your emotional response to your toaster breaking down is a result of a series of processes of indoctrination starting with school in your childhood. You live in a culture that perpetuates emotional attachment to toasters [insert pseudo-philosophical explanation]. Also, education is useless, fat people are subhuman, mental disorders are a lie, transsexual people are just doing it for the benefits, we live in a matriarchal society, black people have social privileges and if you disagree with my pseudospiritual bullsh*t, you're a brainwashed slave. Wake up, sheep!"

the tragic part is that this is an almost exact description of his views.

So I was going to a 22nd Birthday, it was near my place, well, about 8km away, jesus this house was fancy, uni kid still at home, parents both doctors, I have known him for a long time but never been to his place, glad I went, it was a good party, the blokes there were a bit younger than me, the guys place was on a huge hillside backing onto a national park, backyard was separated into about 5 levels, Pool, Tennis court, outdoor giant chessboard, a slide for the pool, a sauna by the pool, a huge decked area, massive gardens and cacti, I was very impressed actually.

Anyway what I am grumpy at is that I planned to drive there, pack my bike in the car, then ride my pushbike home drunk. I cycle 25 kilometres to work every single day, and riding has been an almost daily hobby since I was about 4 years old when I got my first Mongoose with training wheels, point is, riding is as normal and automatic for me as walking or running, I have ridden drunk many times before and my ability to control my bike is still quite good, if it isn't I would stop and walk it, or go very slowly, I use footpaths and cycle paths, I avoid the road because why risk getting run over when a footpath is actually faster and more convenient because of numerous shortcuts, very little other traffic and you know, no risk of getting run down, so cycling drunk in a unpopulated city is hardly a risk to anybody.

I went to the party, got very trashed, very high, and left at nearly 6am in the morning haha, it was still dark, nearly the entire trip was downhill save for an uphill inbetween this guys suburb and my suburb, and the big uphill back to my place, I live just by a national park as well, and they are generally on hillsides where it would get too steep to build housing, so it was quite a fast and fun ride, it only took me about 15 minutes on my single speed, so I was averaging over 30km/h which is pretty impressive In my my state at the time I thought, however it was nearly entirely downhill and my bike is tuned to a point.

Anyway I mention that I am going drinking and plan to ride home because it's so close to my house to a few people, nearly every female I told got on my case, the guys didn't seem to care, probably a bunch of reasons why, but doesn't matter the gender, it just f*cking annoyed me, I got huge lectures, these are the shortened versions.
"You could get dui'd!!"
"You could seriously hurt someone you idiot!"
"Dumb idea you should just walk"

I tried to reason, but I was hit with walls.

1. DUI'd? Yeah, I have never, ever, not even once been pulled over on a pushbike in 25 years in various cities, times and places.
2. It's rare I even see a cop because I use backroads, alleyways, cycle paths ect.

3. If I did see a cop, again, I am in the dark, it dark clothing, they are on a road, odds of them seeing me, extremely slim.
4. If a cop did see me, and did decide to try pull me over, well for one they'd have to leave the road to get me, having lived in the same suburb on and off for nearly 25 years I know that it is 11.3 square kilometres large, I have been in every single street, I know where every alleyway is, I know that nearly every street does have an alleyway because it was designed for easy foot traffic, and within about 30 seconds I could be 2-3 streets away where a cop couldn't chase me in a car, and if they did go on foot, well they couldn't tazer me because I would easily get too far away, and cops in Australia never shoot people for almost any reason unless they are being attacked with a weapon, and with all the gear the cops are wearing, including combat boots, It is extremely unlikely they could run more than 35-40km/h (ussain bolt speeds) chasing me on a pushbike downhill after pulling over and securing their car lol. And If I was going uphill, well the only two uphills on my route home are way off the road and the police wouldn't have seen me so that discounts that right away.

As for injuring someone?
1. Who is walking around at nearly 6am in the dark? On a Sunday morning in a small, not densely populated city where everything is closed until 10am? For the record, I saw not a single person, and I saw only 1 car on the entire 8 kilometres, only one car, even the entire city at that time has almost nobody walking around aside from the cleanup crew that go around cleaning from saturday nights night life, I have been there at that time many times, nobody around, let alone in a suburb 30km away from there.
2. If they were walking around in the same place as me, I am sure they would hear my bicycle because it is quite loud, and if they didn't, even in my drunken state, I am sure that I could avoid them, just like when I am walking drunk I am still capable of avoiding people on a street with nobody around, especially when you are only as wide as your shoulders and, like, you literally have 10 metres of space to avoid someone on these cycle paths and footpaths and back streets.
3. Riding a bicycle that weighs only 10 kilos, and is about the same size as a shorter person horizontally, with the handlebars which steer at the exact same ratio as the wheel less than 20 cm from where the actual wheel turns going only about 30-40kmh (and any obstacle would be going only between 5 and 15kmh head on because they'd be going uphill on a bike, or at walking/jogging speed) and has an effective stopping distance of about 3 metres if I jammed my hydraulic disc brakes on, or probably less because I would slow down If I saw someone anyway with a very large amount of room to manoeuvre while cycling compared to the vehicles size, is very different to driving a car that weighs 1.5-2 tonnes, has the steering wheel more than a meter away from where the actual turning occurs, is travelling at 60 or more kilometres an hour in lanes that have very little room for error in relation to the size of the car which is about two metres wide, 4 metres long, will most likely deal with oncoming traffic going at the same speeds who have the same incapacity to avoid you if you make a mistake.

Like really, why the f*ck are you making such a massive deal out of me riding my bicycle, in a dead quiet area, off the road, in the early hours of the morning while drunk. The odds of hurting anyone other than myself are so extremely slim, and even hurting myself is slim considering I am an extremely experienced rider, am wearing a backpack padded with jackets, wearing thick jackets that pad my upper body, and wearing a helmet and hoods and a beanie and wearing two layers of pants, and the fact I have done it several times before and never had any issues, I was very blasted Sunday morning, yet I had pretty much no issues getting home, and actually only experienced problems when I was going very slowly because my balance wasn't as good as it could be.

It actually makes me angry how so many people try to nanny other people, If I was driving drunk, I completely understand, that is entirely justified, or riding a motorcycle drunk, or riding a horse drunk, because all of those things are either large, potentially unpredictable, or capable of high speeds/have to share the road and require large amounts of focus, but seriously, people need to take a f*cking chill pill.

Cliffs:
Rode my bike home drunk, was totally fine, it;s second nature to me and a whole bunch of chicks lectured me about it even after I explained why it's dumb to do so.

I did skim the bulk of that wall of text.

'Sounds like that thing chicks do just to talk.

My grumpiness:

Back to school around me sucks. The college students move back into the neighborhood(s) and the regular school kids are back on the trolleys. It's sooooo f*cking annoying.

Brsides getting in trouble for DUI you possibly get hit by a car and since you already unsteady on your feet you're just as bad on your bike even though you think you're doing fine but in reality you're wobbly on your bike and you mentioned you were wearing dark clothes so all it took was one car and you to get wobby enough to get into it's path and get hit by the car.

Did you not f*cking read, I don't ride on the road, I ride on the footpath, or cycle path, in back alleys, where unless cars are for some reason mounting kerbs or smashing through people's yard into suburban back alleys with huge embankments blocking them from the roads then I would not get hit by a car.

If I was riding on the road, different story, but I wasn't, I am so tired of explaining this haha.

You can in the UK. People have actually been banned from driving for cycling whilst over the limit- "in charge of a vehicle with excess alcohol" I think is something like the specific law. Believe it's a mandatory ban which applies across all licences.

I was listening to the news on the radio today, and a Swedish man was charged with a DUI on his own property using his lawnmower. Good times.

You're not technically driving though. Well, remind me not to take my bike down the stairs while drunk. Not because of a DUI, it just hurts like a bitch when you fall down 2 flights of stairs.

Yeah I think the idea is so that there is some kind of enforceable reason to discourage the behaviour, like who's gonna stop doing it if there's a 100 dollar fine. But If you lose your license, well that'd suck.

Tries to have some fcking fun playing the Legendary Edition of Skyrim, stupid Antivirus give me a warning that I 'need to update the thing' which results in a 'hard-exit' to the *Desktop, leaving me struggle to re-enter the game tab again.

When you start a game, press the Windows button. Then you'll know what I mean in that part.
