Wait, wait.

I though this was a "bitch 'n' moan" thread? Aren't we supposed to show our bitching here?

Or are you guys are trying to replicate the incident here last year? UT and Sivispacem knows what I'm talking about

OT:

Why, just why? When I turn the AC on, the only parts of my body that turn cold are my feet? I can sleep with no clothes on for the entire night with the AC turned on, and the only area that gets cold are my feet. Rarely I feel cold in my entire body. Infact yesterday I had to wear socks just so my feet stop hurts. And its always below the ankle. Smh

And it gets better. You turn off the AC and the room becomes as hot as a volcano. Forcing you to turn it on again.

I hope I won't get a warning for this.
Last year I came here to bitch about my father, only for the entire thread users to jump on my dick. They did to me what they did to Gtaman. "hes ur father u shold ignore him wah someone on da internet hates his father i shold annoy him 2 death"

To make matters worse, thinking about all the nonsense my dad did to me through my life made my depression to kicks in. I basically nearly lost it. Every time I shut my laptop I "lose" my mind and start crying. Sivispacem was like "I had enough with all this derailing" and came here to stop the fight, but apparently thanks to all the sadness in my head I somehow "ignored" his warning and tossed my final words for the subjects. "I hate my dad, okay? Go eat a dick and stop pissing me off - you won't change me! (or something down the line)". He temp-banned me for that.

They basically did the same to Gtaman. At least they are halfway right - the guy is kinda angry at his "fate" more than anything, whereas I have gone through worse and didn't complain about it.

E: OT

Why is it sometimes when I write a word, this stupid laptop's keyboard don't "click" making the word in question missing a letter?! Its annoying.

Today's gripe is brought to you by the London Underground. Starting pay almost double the national median household income, 2% pay rises and £2k lunp sums on the table, and yet they still decide to bring services to a halt for 26 hours apparently as some sort of two-fingered salute to management.

Seriously, Forty Nine Thousand Pounds. For sitting in the cabs of autonomous trains, opening the doors. Meanwhile, carers get minimum wage for actually keeping people alive, and nurses are stuck with an effective pay cut over the next five years.

Double standards much, dad?

Coincidentally, my brother and I were not long just speaking about this. London salaries or not, learning that somebody is earning nearly a grand per week for sitting on their arse driving a f*cking train are what seething reactions are made of, even more so when taking aboard (sh*tty pun intended) your point of what a carer brings home. One wonders how long until the Edinburgh tram drivers take note and take the piss out of an already initial shambles of a project.

Apparently my old phone is shouting its last words.

Currently my phone only have at least %35 of charge. When I wanted to recharge it didn't start the "Now recharging" sound/screen. Figures I should turn it on. It showed 2 bars (implying that its currently at %25 or so). I leave it at that. Fast forward 3-5 hours later its STILL at the second bar. When I unplug it the screen didn't go away. I turn it back on and the battery flashes as if its "recharging" even though I removed the cable. Turned the device off again and turned it on, nothing.

Its still working and all, but of course I can't use it forever. When the energy reaches %0 it'll shut off. Since I can't recharge it there's no way to turn it back on. And its 11:05 P.M now so there's no stores will be open.

R.I.P, old Samsung phone. 2011 - 2015. You was the best phone I have ever owned. :(

Went to start my car and it cranks but won't start. Basically idnicitive of the chip key being bad. So I went to Lowe's and they cut me a new key and programmed it. Went to start my car and it's still not starting. So either they programmed the key wrong or there's something else going on. f*ck my life

The battery probably died.
If the battery was dead it wouldn't crank. It's doing literally the same thing it does if you take a non chip key and try to start it. It will crank but it never gives it enough has to start. So the chip inside the key is f*cked. I bet they didn't program it to the correct model year at Lowes. I'm going to look up my Vin and confirm the model year and if it's different than what I told him I will go back and see if I can exchange it.

At least you have a car and can afford to fix said car you whiney f*cking chump.

I agree though, f*ck your life.

Yes I am so fortunate to have a 16 year old car with 161,000 miles on itI have a 2000 cavalier and has over 200k miles. I'm glad I have something to get me around. Let's see I had a lot of issues I'll list what's been fixed so far.

Fixed:

Ignition wiring November 2014

Starter failure December 2014

New Battery August 2014

Valve Cover panel gasket August 2014

Replaced two back tires January 2015

Exhaust pipe brace broke February 2015

Not Fixed yet:

Evap vent solenoid

O2 sensor

Blower for heat doesn't work on settings 1&2(Open resistor prob)

Cracked windshield

AC compressor fully locked up

Miles cluster is bad

Radio works but needs replaced tuner dial worn out. Turn normally speed skips over 5 stations and gotta move it very slowly.

Be lucky that it's just a chip problem. But I can understand your frustration.

Got out of the shower.

Got dry, got dressed for bed.

Knelt down to go pet my cat.

Rested my hand in cat vomit.

And old guy at my work makes the same sarcastic remark about how he's "living the dream" every time you ask how he's doing. I know he does it to be funny, and I guess he thinks everyone else is a spineless sh*t who is "only playing with the cards God dealt" but every day I want to just tell him to shut the f*ck up and if he doesn't like where his life is then do something about it.

That felt good. I like this topic.

It's probably more of a "sarcastic" remark than anything with him still working at an old age "he's living the dream" instead of retired.

Give the old man a break.

Usually, a cat vomits because he ate something disagreeable, ate too much or played too soon after dinner but it's most likly the result of hairballs

Y'all are lucky. I'll rather have a cat that vomits all over the place than losing 3 F*CKING CATS IN ONE MONTH.

  1. Oldest and most loved cat: Disappeared. For all we know she was pregnant. Maybe she had to give birth when she was outside, who knows.
  2. Second cat, daughter of the cat above: Had no idea what the hell happened, but for all I know her left arm is broken and her left eat was bitten.... I think. She kept hugging the already-disease-infested dog of ours. She stopped eating and died from hunger.
  3. Third cat, sister of the cat above: She was sick of something, she died the same way our dog died.

The biggest strike was the dog. She had it coming though. She was well over 9 years old, and I believe that breed only lives for 10-15 years. I think she has some sort of cancer - her elbows were spilling blood. Later on we found "worms" in her butt. Yes, worms. The same things that eat your body AFTER your death... was present on her way before her death. They were eating her alive - no wonder she was screaming like crazy.

According to my father the doctor came out and gave her something to keep her chilled for the next morning. My friend and my dad's co-worker stayed with her the entire night in our farm (far enough so that she won't trouble anyone with her constant barking). He said when she woke up she was better... only for her to die the next few hours.

Only for my last cat to die the same way the dog died. I have no luck with cats whatsoever. :(

Just out of curiosity, how much did you spend on the car and how much have you spent on fixing the car? :p

He should wave hello to Europe (or at least here) where owning a car at below 25 is freaking impossible for 99% of people and not a human right like it seems to be in the US. Edited by Andreaz1

Heya Andreas, I bought my first car at 16 - a 1989 Saab 900 Turbo 16v. I'm now 19 and on my 2nd car, a 2000 Fiat Marea Weekend ELX 16v. :) My father is a retired working-class immigrant with no education, and my mother works part time, so it's not like I was given it either.

How many people do you know who have done the same though? :) Of the hundreds of people I've gone through school with I can think of two I know who have cars. Both are (and have been for years) commited to full time work rather than possible university education. That's the level of commitment needed to be able to afford a car at 18 or 20, at least in this country.

My main point was how different Europe is from US, the country that brought us shows like "My Sweet 16" (vomit alert) where I learned how many kids are given cars as presents when they turn 16. Of course being given a car doesn't happen to everyone but my distinct life impression is that a lot of Murican youths have cars. Universetwisters for instance and there was someone else on the forum who bought a wreck and wanted to get it running without his/her parents knowing, can't remember who though? Maybe I'm wrong but it just doesn't work that way here.

Well, the US is a whole ordeal on its own :p

As far as Europe and our respective(fantastic) countries go, it largely depends upon what car you decide to go for, and how committed you are. I know you can get a running and besiktiga Saab or Volvo for next to nothing(I frequent blocket.se in daydreaming). I worked part-time during weekends, and got the literal car of my dreams for 10 000 NOK :) All while completing Videregående opplæring, which I believe is called gymnasieskola in Swedish(?), so you're probably familiar with it.

Now, I'm not saying it's so commonplace, despite being able to name quite a few within my own circles who do have personal cars, but it isn't impossible for anyone under 25 as you suggested :)

Your main point went out the window as soon as you cited a TV show about exceptionally spoiled kids with rich/wealthy parents. Believe it or not, not every "Murican youth" get gifted a car, regardless of whatever birthday they may or may not be celebrating.

Yep I exaggerated that but it's not all about buying the car itself. You also need to keep it running and on the road with taxes/fuel/parts/whatever else. I also frequent Blocket quite a bit. :p And yep, gymnasieskola (just "gymnasiet" colloquially).
