Went to start my car and it cranks but won't start. Basically idnicitive of the chip key being bad. So I went to Lowe's and they cut me a new key and programmed it. Went to start my car and it's still not starting. So either they programmed the key wrong or there's something else going on. f*ck my life

I mean, I've encountered some very strange positions--this particular person seemed to be an 'anarcho'-capitalist, which is itself a contradictory and utterly bizarre ideology--but I've never seen anyone claim that feudalism only existed according to Marx, and that capitalism is 10,000 years old. It was just too much.

The battery probably died.If the battery was dead it wouldn't crank. It's doing literally the same thing it does if you take a non chip key and try to start it. It will crank but it never gives it enough has to start. So the chip inside the key is f*cked. I bet they didn't program it to the correct model year at Lowes. I'm going to look up my Vin and confirm the model year and if it's different than what I told him I will go back and see if I can exchange it.

You're right it is a first world problem but people bitch about their cars all the time. Just because there are people getting beheaded in some places doesn't mean it isn't frustrating when your car won't start.

 

I think I'm just going to go to the dealer sometime this week and see if they can test my key to see if it was programmed correctly. And if it wasn't programmed correctly I will just have them make me one and return the other one to Lowes. And then once this is all take care of that POS car is being traded in. I'm sick of it

It's hard to look at the positive side of things when there is nothing positive in my life. Mainly due to my own actions and partially due to stuff out of my control. I am the reason my life is bad. It sucks but I made my bed and now I have to sleep in it.

 

I don't know why my mind won't accept it and let me settle into my low level life. Idk why my subconscious keeps hoping for better things and thinking I have stuff to look forward to. My mind just loves to f*ck with me I guess

Your mind does like messing with you, but that doesn't mean it's your fault. You can discount the advice of Internet forum dwellers, but it's harder to discount the opinions of trained professionals or close friends or family. You can absolutely fix your situation, but you need more than your own mental fortitude and self-loathing to do so: find a friend or professional. They will give you far more comprehensive responses to your worries than any of us could. We can only know what you tell us.

You have been intimate with a woman and you didn't have to pay her. Believe me you're doing a lot better than the "Forever Alone" crowd. It was easier for our ancestors as marriage was sacred back then and everyone was paired off to a partner of similar social standing by the village matchmaker or their parents. Not true at all. It could well be the battery being on its way out, in fact that's probably the cause. The RFID chips in the keys suddenly and mysteriously dying is extremely rare.

Well, I am trying to find the 1988 Revisited edition of the book Weapons and Tactics of the Soviet Army, by David C. Isby, and it's crazy how the second hand prices go up to 130 bucks. It may be a rare exemplar but those prices are totally exorbitant.

Why that one in particular? The best book on the subject IMO is "Soviet Strategic Thought, 1917-91".
