Second. First check was like $20.

I worked a whole month though before I quit.

 

Probably have some more money coming in but I'm not too worried about it anymore since I bought a laptop that'll hold me over until I find a new job.

So I picked up a 2 gig external today(for a weird project) for my main PC here at home. Unpacked it...plugged it in...got the little 'drivers installed - device is read' notice.

 

I don't see the drive listed.

 

I jump over to the storage manager or whatever it is called. I see the drive but it is listed as 'no media'. Weird...I've never seen that before.

While rebooting(which I hate to do anyway) I notice on the little external drive it says "my passport for MAC".

 

I have a PC.

There was no option to format. The only available option in windows storage manager was to change the assigned drive letter. Format and all the other useful options were grayed out.

 

Everything worked out though. I picked it up at a Staples a block from my work and it was a painless exchange today. Replacement is hooked up and happy.

 

 

 

 

Today was an alrignt day. Wrapped up some projects at work and such.

I liked it when YT showed you the rating of a video on or alongside the thumbnail. That way you could tell if it was worth watching or not before loading it up. But no no. The bloodsucking, parasitic, bursting at the seams condom tips over there at Google wanted to make sure the video got its view before you could see the rating, thus filling their pockets more, and making life as inconvenient as possible for the peasant everyday ant.

I've found that chickens work much better than cats for bug protection.
