Newborn babies aren't the current generation of the human race are they? They're considered the Next Generation until they 'come of age', so to speak. So, even though they are born and are technically here, they're not the current generation.

Here's an example I like to use.

 

If Ford release the 8th generation of the Fiesta does that mean it's the next generation because most people will have the seventh generation or earlier? No. The Current generation is the newest generation that has been released so in this case the 8th generation would be the current generation regardless of how many people use it. The same thing applies to consoles.

 

If everyone suddenly switched to an N64 that (using your logic) would mean that the fifth generation would be the current generation but in reality it wouldn't.

I still like to call the 360 and PS3 current gen and the XB1 and PS4 next gen. I don't know. It's just out of habit I suppose.

 

I'll only call the 360 and PS3 last gen when they're out of production and developers are done with them once and for all.

Yeah who honestly cares what "generation" certain technology is. It doesn't make a difference, everyone can interpret it how they want. Some still call ps4 and xb1 next gen, some call them current, but I just say I currently have a ps3 so that's current for me in my perspective. If people have ps4 that's current for them. It depends on the person and you're not gonna change their opinion no matter how much you try. No hate to any of you, but none of you are "right". Hell, I'm probably not right either haha

I'm still pissed of at my backstabbing co-workers. What makes it worse is having to face the reality that there are backstabbing co-workers everywhere.

 

I swear if get fired as a result of my co-workers and manager making look me bad. I might just....idk yet. I've considered arsony many times, but I don't want to get in trouble. I'll give them a sh*t ton of bad reviews on yelp. ( or worse)

 

I think it's best for me to not get to comfortable at any job, at least until I get a career. I feel sorry for these people valuing their dead end job so much they're willing to throw other people under the boss and kiss the manager's ass so hard

 

One reason I thought I got hired was because I valued team work. I don't know what the f*ck it is going on at my current job , but it's definitely not teamwork. Feels more like that show where you get kicked off the island until there's two people left, or like hunger games..

Luckily tomorrow the school district is losing thousands of dollars due to senior ditch day. I know I shouldn't be happy about that, but for once the students can actually make a difference. It's almost like a protest in a way, for one day we can all say f*ck it and just have a mass ditch and head to the beach. All we are to the school are bags of money, so tomorrow the school loses $48 per student, It's a revolution of sorts...I won't be your cash crop. Hell, i'm just a grumpy old forumer and I love to stir up trouble. So tomorrow is a means for celebration. Tomorrow I have a say in what I wanna do. F*ck authority man!

 

Damn, I sound so stupid, but I just have alot of teen angst right now. I need to let it all out, feels good.

To be honest, I have no idea. The only reason I know that is because the principal sent out emails to all the parents warning them of tomorrows planned "ditch day" and it stated that the district loses $48 per student which adds up to thousands of dollars district wide. I don't know exactly how though.

I don't get it. Probably some bullsh*t because the school's budget was determined at the beginning of the year and I don't believe that senior ditch day has any effect on the budget decisions.
