My friend, the easiest way to remove the wild Hipster is to burn their supplies. In this case, Paneras, Starbucks, and Bubble tea shops. Each and every one of them within a 10 mile radius must be razed to the ground (or if you prefer a peaceful approach, like a sissy, put out of business). Within a week the wild Hipster population will flee, seeking a new home under the guise of following their dreams as artists.

These are a few things that make me grumpy with my new company as opposed to my old one.

 

-Mandatory 30 minute lunch break with sever penalties if you skip it or cut it short. No matter what you are doing or how your schedule for the day is shaping up you must stop whatever you are doing and spend an entire 30 minutes at lunch doing no work at all with no exceptions (the timekeeping software literally locks you out of your computer for the entire 30 minutes during your lunch break). Can be a real pain in the ass if you are running ahead of schedule and have a chance to get all of your work done and head home early.

 

-Must use company assigned phone for company business. You can have your personal cell phone with you and use it while you work but if you do any work related business with your personal phone such as calling customers or processing payments you get in trouble. I guess I can see where they are coming from with this but it still annoys me because my previous company allowed you to use your personal phone for everything so you only needed one phone instead of carrying around and keeping track of 2 different phones with different numbers all day. It was much easier just using one phone for both my personal and business activities throughout the day.

 

-way more busy work than my last company. At my previous job everything was computer based with only a little bit of paper record for customers and everything was a lot more streamlined. But my current company is heavily beauracratic and requires a lot more paper work and record keeping. Like printing out weekly reports and mailing them to the main office. Printing a paper record of every single customer interaction and mailing it to the main office etc. At my previous company all of this was handled electronically and you really didn't have to do anything.

 

-Support staff doesn't automatically reschedule your appointments if you are running behind or won't be able to make an appointment due to time. You must do that yourself. Again it's just a slight difference in culture but when you are used to having secretaries magically change your appointment times or rescheduling them for another day when you are running behind all of a sudden having to do it yourself is weird.

 

Sometimes I wish my previous company had a branch on the state I moved to but unfortunately that's not the case.

Federal/State Labour Laws. Severe fines for “forcing” workers to work through the mandated breaks. [WalMart as an example]

Business deduction involved, and may be monitoring business calls for conduct and accuracy.

Harder to falsify hard paper records. And, impossible to hack.

I can't sleep for sh*t. Whenever its nighttime I can't sleep until past 23:00 or even at midnight. Its rather annoying.

Why do you even go to bed before midnight. I find that I sleep best from 12:30-6:20 on school nights and 1:30-7:20 on weekends. Getting more sleep makes me feel more groggy when I wake up, ironically, whilst getting just 6 hours makes me feel fully awake in like 5 minutes.

It's recommendable to sleep around 8 hours. It's not healthy either to sleep less than 6 hours or way too much.

You know what I hate, those guys that have the "perfect" hair and end up getting all the female attention. Like, you're honestly nothing without your stupid pretty hair. If I snuck into your house at night and shaved your head, you'd lose all the respect you get from these girls. Believe me, some girls are like that with hair. I had a girlfriend a few years ago back when I had long hair, and a month into our relationship I cut my hair shorter and she broke up with me cause she only liked me for my old hair. I'd like to see what would happen if those stupid "instagram famous" guys with their luscious hair suddenly didn't have hair anymore. I doubt they would still have a fanbase, cause most of the girls would move on to the next guy. It's like their power is in their hair...

The odds of receiving a message back are basically 1/1000. And I've heard that women recieve like 100+ messages a day on most sites and apps so it's all just a waste of time.

 

Unless or course you want to settle for the crack whore with 4 kids who needs some support in the money department xD

 

And yes I know I'm not really Grade A dating material so I know my chances of getting a return message are slim as it is. But when you can't even get a simple hello or even the most basic reply it's pretty depressing.

The odds of receiving a message back are basically 1/1000. And I've heard that women recieve like 100+ messages a day on most sites and apps so it's all just a waste of time.

And yes I know I'm not really Grade A dating material so I know my chances of getting a return message are slim as it is. But when you can't even get a simple hello or even the most basic reply it's pretty depressing.
