Ever since my grandmother moved into this small ass apartment with me and my family, my parents AND grandmother have made me change my ways. Now I can't stay on my own f*cking computer after 11:30, and I can't play games after 10. I can't believe this sh*t. My grandmother thinks she has the highest sense of authority, but she doesn't at all. I haven't done sh*t to her and the things I do in my spare time don't affect anyone else at home at all.

 

And just last weekend, I got yelled at for staying up past 2AM on a WEEKEND. It's like I can't even f*cking do anything anymore and I'm just so pissed off. The weekend is mine, not anybody else's.

If you're over 18 and living with your parents without contributing to the bills/paying rent, then why shouldn't they be able to set the rules? It seems a bit ridiculous that you think you have a say in something when you're basically freeloading and you're an adult. I should've said this earlier. My sister has a job and my parents don't make her pay any bills. They only make her pay her car insurance and part of her tuition.

Why not look for a job and put your band on the back burner for now?

 

I had a job when I was your age and I still have it now, doing landscaping and stuff. Was it hard work? f*ck yeah. Did it pay good? Hell yeah. Plus, I had a good deal of free time after work and stuff. So why not start looking for a job now?
