So it's the 8:40, I'm in the train heading back home to hopefully get some sleep and I'm f*cking pissed off. I'm pissed of because today I had news of my old mates and apparently this bitch, who was a total douchebag, is doing great in life. Sometimes would be nice if karma actually existed.

Was anyone else feeling irritated by how vague the instructions are in Grand Theft Auto V. During the multi-assassination mission, I had trouble locating the guy on the escalating device. I thought he was on the roof or something, so I ended up climbing buildings and whatnot. I didn't know it was as simple as sniping him when you're on ground level. In that one mission with Trevor, it was hard to figure out how to get down in the lower level of the house. It should be a lot simpler than that. It's not supposed to be a puzzle.

Only two things are known for sure about the mysterious Pyro: he sets things on fire and he doesn't speak. In fact, only the part about setting things on fire is undisputed. Some believe his occasional rasping wheeze may be an attempt to communicate through a mouth obstructed by a filter and attached to lungs ravaged by constant exposure to his asbestos-lined suit. Either way, he's a fearsome, inscrutable, on-fire Frankenstein of a man. If he even is a man.

So, the Publisher wants to keep some mystery. To quote Pyro, "Mmph mmmph mph-mph mmph mmmmph!"

Because people who play Valve games overlap a lot with weirdos who post on internet forums, and internet forums are great for arguing about game theories that mean absolutely nothing. I doubt feminists are the only ones insisting it.

I had to switch to using Debian a few weeks ago. I really like it, except there's an awful bug that's really ruining it for me. It'll freeze up completely and not take any input at all. All the solutions to similar freezes I've found online involve using the keyboard or logging in with ssh, but none of that works. I hope someone else out there who knows more about what they're doing has the same issue.

For me it is a damaged sleep center. When I can afford the meds I have slept as much as four hours in one go (not worth the expense). I can sometimes "roll-over" and get another hour or up to 3 more hours. But I do have to get up. If the temperature goes over 83F degrees I cannot lay down at all. Being tired varies. Sometimes I have to go back to bed after six hours, sometimes I am up for 20.

I don't know but this year my Science 1 (Physics and Chemistry) teacher isn't that great. Not even good for that matter.

 

The problem is I just can't understand what she is saying nor does anyone else. It's just like she rushes through every thing. Today we had a test and I'm having doubts whether I'd pass it. (I have never failed a test before in my life) but I think I should (and hopefully) sneak through. But what's the point of learning without understanding?

 

It makes me feel annoyed and angry. It's just so hard to learn when the teacher does not teach well. Has anybody else been in a similar situation like this? How did you guys cope with it?

I, honestly, just don't give a f*ck.

 

Whenever the teacher does a poor job, and then complains that the entire class didn't pass a test, we're (the class) not afraid to tell it in his/her face. Course, typical response is 'well study more'. How the f*ck am I supposed to study gibberish?

 

My math teacher is one of the best, and while I'm as sh*t at math as a person can possibly be, I still understand some of the stuff he teaches. That's because he actually tries to put something in your head.

My chemistry teacher was crap. In the beginning of the year we had this long-term substitute and the class was going by smoothly as if she was actually a teacher. She actually taught, and I got high B's and low A's on most of her stuff. I was even thinking about moving onto pre-AP chemistry as I was in pre-AP biology the previous year and chemistry seemed easy. So one day, this other woman was in the classroom and I found out that she was the actual teacher and that it was the last day for the substitute. Ever since, my view on the class had begun to spiral down. She's a mother and Mexican and wasn't uptight or anything, but was a little too strict on what we could do and what we couldn't do. Like if we finish a test, we just sit there. With the other teacher, we could get on our phones or do whatever as long as we were quiet (like every other class that I know of).

 

I got used to that though, but what pissed me off was that she could be snappy at times and you know those mothers that get on you for every little bit of attitude that you have? She was like that. I'm thinking to myself, okay you're a mother and it's fine to nitpick attitudes with your own children, but don't bring that sh*t to school. But all year long, she did that and it got out of hand way too many times and disrupted class. Like I think some of you might remember that story I told you of how she got mad at this student who got offended when she said he smelt like smoke. You can't say anything or do anything with any kind of negative emotion in her class, even if she pisses you off. She never caught an attitude with me, and I'm glad she didn't because I get so pissy when she's in one of those moods that I would've exploded, but she always acted kind of funny towards me. This one time she made me sit at an empty table for 3 days when everybody else what sitting in groups. I was confused because I never talked in her class, I made good grades, and did nothing wrong.

 

What bugged me the most was that she was a lousy teacher. She never taught us in that class. She just made us write all of our notes and then gave us work, occasionally going over some problems but not too often. And then the grades in the grade book were always put in way too late but then I started to notice that most of my grades were the same as the highest grade out of all of the tests I took (which were all curved). So you could almost do nothing in that class yet get a good grade on a test and then you'll end up with a B or an A. It annoyed me though because I really wanted to learn in that class but I didn't learn sh*t. I got good grades for curves and doing work that I could barely finish. That annoys me because I know how important chemistry is when it comes to the careers that I'm interested in.

 

Last year was just a mediocre year, I must say. There was a new band teacher that I didn't like, a new German teacher where saying that he was awful was an understatement, and then a mediocre chemistry teacher.

 

Well, you're not supposed to be listening to music in class. Just saying.

I guess NISD teachers are really lenient down here then...

Visit her after class and talk to her about not being able to understand what she says. Assuming she is a decent teacher, she will try and accommodate.

The problem here is that you arent taking enough sh*ts at work, it is pretty much a 15 minute break that no one can hold against you. It is great for reading the news or posting on forums and you wont have to worry about your mom watching you take sh*ts when you get home to your moms house.
