I've always thought that swapped around with different genders. Like, boys tend to get more pissed at their moms than girls do, and girls tend to get more pissed at their dads than boys do. I won't call it for a fact, though, seeing as my first ex was pretty distant with her folks (themselves only making themselves known once we started doing sh*t together) and the second one was a kissass to the both of them.

 

It's a theory, but it's a wild one and I wouldn't call it fact.

My first ex was a neo nazi. The second one was some shut-in who was obsessed with sonic and had some kind of habit of letting people go when they 'outlived their usefulness'. Like how she got this one guy she started dating after we broke up to pull a knife on me. Sure, it was a bigass knife (fillet knife) and he was about a foot away from me, but all he did was talk, talk, and talk about his bullsh*t stories, as to how he allegedly killed some kid with the very same knife up in Ohio and instead of going to jail, he moved down here for a "fresh start". I could've wrestled it out of his hands and stabbed him with it and gotten away with it, thanks to Florida's "stand your ground" law. Sure, the media would most likely have a field day about it and I would most likely go to trial for it, only to be let free and mixed reactions sweep the country, but I very well could've gotten away with it.

 

It's not what you do, it's what you could've done. I could've done a lot of things differently, but for some odd reason or another, didn't.

They should legalize every single drug, there is not really many good reasons not to i've found. I used to be naive and believed that drugs should stay illegal, but it's so pointless.

I was being a bit silly when I wrote that. But LSD in the 10-25 microgram level isn't going to cause most people to trip.

 

I believe in legalizing some drugs, mainly to avoid the rise of organized crime and non violent possession arrests/imprisonment.

 

I have my reservations about some substances such as meth and heroin.

Meth is so overrated, seriously, cocaine is just as bad, I've done Methamphetamine after trying cocaine, it was ordered from Amsterdam and it was great, a few of my friends used to do it recreationally.

Overrated as in being bad for you? Well, speed does kill slowly but it's highly addictive, causes paranoia, hallucinations, reduces inhibitions, and causes psychotic breaks. Not to mention lack of sleep is dangerous if you're driving and prolonged lack of sleep pretty much has the same but worse effects of the drug itself.

 

Doing any drug purely recreationally in small doses is fine if you can keep it that way. So if you're that 1% that can handle It your friends aren't. Turning your friend into a junkie isn't cool. Keep in mind, addicts all start out as recreational users.

 

And Cocaine has fairly similar side effects, I am talking about Methamphetamine powder and Cocaine powder which you snort, or eat, not smoking crack or Crystal Meth. The fact that Cocaine only last like 30mins to an hour at a time means increased dosage and it's more addictive, you go down down and just snort another line 30 minutes later, Meth amphetamine last like 12 hours from one dose and you require a lot less of it, how it works out in the long term i'm not sure. Yes Methamphetamine gives you psychotic problems more so than Cocaine, but you couldn't really argue which is worse one way or another.

 

And yes, you're correct, that's how addiction starts, i'm not really advocating the use of illegal drugs, i'm just stating that singling out Methamphetamine when Cocaine is also pretty damn unhealthy is is a little silly . Also I'm not turning my friends into Junkies considering they used it recreationally before I did, and it's not my whole friend populace, it's just a group I know who have since quit using it recreationally, and I have as well, I only did it twice anyway, from two uses I didn't find it very addictive. I don't really have an addictive personality, hell I don't even drink caffeine, except sometimes if i'm having a sleepless few days i'll drink a lot, but then I stop because it doesn't even taste good.

The only thing i'd be scared of becoming dependant on would be Heroin, because it's a downer, downer's I find can be more addictive, because with something like Cocaine or Methamphetamine, it's not really that fun unless you're doing something like partying, Heroin and other depressants you just take, and sit on the couch enjoying the good feels, and it's something you could do watching TV, I can see how that could quickly lead to dependency, I think that's how a lot of Alcoholism starts, people just have that beer after work on the couch.

Considering Drug dealers aren't usually genius's i'd say that it would be pretty hard for them to make good product over here in Australia with our strict drug laws because good dealers get shut down, also drug dealers are cheap bastards here and will mix it with Panadol, crushed up flour, whatever they can to water it down so they make more money. Imported Meth my friends got from Amsterdam was of much higher quality and supposedly "lab tested" and I believe over there they are a little less strict on cracking down on dealers so you end up with a better product here. Similar reasons as to why Cocaine from South America will be much more pure than Cocaine here in Australia.

This is just plain ignorant, prohibition of drugs is very ineffective because it's difficult to scan for and can be hidden in large varieties of things in loads of small quantities which add up(IE; Someone's shoe while they smuggle through the airport), also because anyone can create drugs, it doesn't have to be imported. Prohibition of Fire-arms however is more effective because it's difficult to import illegal weapons simply because they are larger, and also because people can't exactly build them within the country.

 

I am doing to make hyphenated points as to why prohibition of drugs is mostly ineffective.

 

- It simply doesn't work, as stated, because people can create their own drugs wherever they like, and this poses a number of issues which i'll go through eventually, one of them is that the product being created and sold is often far from what the purchaser is intending on buying, impure drugs can often be far more harmful for you than something that is pure, because often drugs are cut with varieties of cheaper drugs (particularly Cocaine because it's so expensive) and this can mean that you're taking a stimulant, with a depressant, which is extremely bad for your cardiovascular health, it causes your heart to speed up and slow down at ridiculous levels, sometimes at an irregular rhythm. A good example of impure drugs would be how in the US cases of severe gangrene from improperly made Heroin are popping up, people (Even first time users) are taking this Heroin variant which causes loss of limbs, severe facial skin loss, and loss of skin around other parts of the body, imagine that from one mistake.

- Prohibition of drugs just creates a Black Market in which only criminals make money from the production and sales of illegal drugs, if drugs were legalized and produced by an official entity, the massive South American drug trade would disappear, and so would the Mexican Drug Cartel, sure they would still exist, but their billions (350Billion worldwide drug trade estimated revenue http://edition.cnn.com/2012/12/06/opinion/branson-end-war-on-drugs ) in illegal revenue would vanish and that would decrease number of criminals, and i'm sure you've seen how f*cked up crazy some of the cartels and gangs are over drugs. - Prohibition of drugs is ridiculously expensive, the US spends somewhere between 25 - 100 billion dollars annually on enforcing the prohibition of drugs, which includes increased police, people serving in prison for posession and dealing offences, court costs ect ect, i'm not sure if any of these figures actually measure the cost to the community though, people in prison can't work and provide for the community, the people employed as police cracking down on drugs can't be out solving murders or burglaries or protecting the people and so forth. - I feel that drugs should all be legalized around the world and produced officially by pharmaceutical companies, the government should monitor and tax the drugs, it's estimated the US could earn 46.7 billion in Tax revenue from the sales of drugs if the tax rates were made comparable to tobacco and alcohol taxes, that 46 billion in revenue, minus the 50 billion on enforcement of prohibition. That extra money the US has to spend could be put towards proper education about drugs through schooling, making people fully aware of all the side-effects and how bad for your health they are, more money can be put towards rehabilitation programs for drug users which combined with policies about usage and how much can be sold to a person of any particular drug can be used as a safety net against addiction, if you are monitored with prescriptions of the drugs you are using, mandatory psychological rehabilitation can be enforced on people who have fallen to the throes of addiction, and rather than making them criminals and putting them through a justice system which is also ineffective, they can be helped.

 

If prohibition is removed properly, legalizing drugs will decrease rates of drug use greatly, and create money for the government, if you come back and say to me without reading or debating any of my points "Well drugs are bad, they should be illegal" then I just wasted 40 minutes of my time, and you are obviously an ignorant child.

For multiple reasons. Mainly it is the hassle he causes me with my dogs. Bear in mind I don't have hunting dogs. I have pugs - they don't hunt....but they are trained on command to 'go potty'.

 

The other night we caught the possum at a bad time and he was unable to climb up and out of my yard in time. He was forced to play possum on the yard. Naturally the dogs wanted to do pug dances and say hi. Total potty distraction.

 

Just a few minutes ago we went out to go potty. They [the dogs] ran around smelling like mr. possum had been around. The one dog who owed me a poop...pooped. Where I live you have to dispose of your dog's poo no matter what...no matter if it is your yard and property or whatever.

 

I went over to dispose of the poop in the poop can. The poop can is in an unlit corner(bottom right of the pic for reference)...scary enough on its own. f*cking possum was sitting on poop can. Scared the f*cking sh*t out of me.

The possums around here like to hang out on our back porch, and so sometimes I'll head out to the kitchen to get some juice and whatnot at night and I'll notice the porch light's on, and when I look out there's often a little gremlinpossum standing upright looking into my windowed door.
