i've only had one filling and it was years ago so it was probably some little kiddy filling but what's so bad about a filling?

 

all that happened when i went was i lay down on the bed, told it was gonna be alright and that i should shut the f*ck up (paraphrased) and they sprayed some ice cold sh*t in my mouth, i got a sticker and went home.

 

i imagine it wasn't a proper filling though.

They used a pathetic amount of some sort of painkiller that didn't work and then drilled like crazy on my teeth and i could literary feel everything. Including the swirling of the drill and when they hit the main nerve deep in my teeth it sent a shockwave of unbearable pain into my teeth but I didn't move or say anything because they had my mouth propped open and had a sharp deadly looking drill in my mouth so I was afraid that moving or talking would cause something worse to happen. It went on for a couple hours and it was among the worst experiences of my life.

I actually have decent teeth in my family. My dad hasn't been to the dentist in probably 25-30 years and doesn't have any serious issues. It's just all about maintaining your own teeth to a respectable level. I have failed somewhat and that's why I have the 4 cavities but I will be alright. And if worse comes to worse I will just let them fall out and get dentures or just go toothless and blend all my food. Problem solved.

My mom freaks out about the most petty sh*t and its starting to get on my nerves. Just today she picked me up from school and drove me to the dentist even though I told her repeatedly that I will not go and driving there was a waste of time. When we got there she parked the car and I simply refused to get out. She freaked out. Slammed the door TWICE and screamed at me making a fool of herself in the middle of the strip mall parking lot. So She kicked me out of the car and told me to walk home. I walked to my sister's friend's house because I knew her boyfriend was there and was going to give her a ride home soon so I went there and he gave me ride home. The whole point behind it is that me and her made an agreement that when I turned 18 I wouldn't be required to go to the dentist anymore but she went behind my back and scheduled this appointment to fill some cavities that were discovered in my last checkup (Which was supposed to be my final visit to the dentist ever). And then on top of that when I got home she was getting ready to go to the gym and wouldn't allow me to go with her and then she was talking about cancelling the gym membership and everything. All of this because I'm just following an agreement me an her made. I seriously don't see why it is a big deal and why she had to freak out like that.

By the century olde 'rules' you are supposed to screan and moan as loud as you can while he drills, and Bite the doctor if you can.

I hate when I'm walking out of school to the car, and because my mum parks further away (last time she parked near like everyone else some crazy bitch with terminal illness physically attacked her, when my mum didn't do anything wrong) I have to walk along the road.

So GTA V is meant to be coming out in September now. Great because around that time I'll be busy doing a HNC at college plus new consoles should be out at the end of this year so I'll be playing a game on old 2005 hardware which feels and looks so f*cking dated now. I've got a decent PC but GTA V will probably get delayed for that system.

People of all ages wanting to moan about anything and everything, although if you're moaning about GTA, I would say keep it in the relevant sections, since this forum is about GTA.

 

My grump today is about some people who just need to calm the f*ck down as they'll stress themselves into an early grave over something trivial, it's all well and good having a little moan, like in this topic but it's all done in a light hearted way, but some folk.... I can't describe the exact circumstances but, just sheesh.

So it was fine this spring, but a few months later and it's suddenly unacceptable?

 

I don't get why so many people are complaining about it interfering or colliding with their college or university stuff. The game isn't going to make you play it. It'll still be there during your free time. Fair enough, I can see how some people are looking forward to it massively and just want to play it, but it's not like that's going to be an impossibility. I mean, you'll all be at the beginning of the year so aside from the hectic chaos of the first couple of weeks you won't be bombarded with huge assignments straight away.

 

Also, don't read this in an aggressive manner, it's more in jest. I'm just trying to make a point.

My post wasn't only because of GTA V being delayed, it's the constant delays from in general. Time after time Rockstar says there will be screenshots out on this day or a dlc for Max Payne that day or some game comes out in a month. Next thing you know it's that day and R*s news is nowhere to be found. It's beginning to get very old.

I suppose GTA V will be worth the wait but it's finding games to play which keep me coming back for more. Far Cry 3 is doing that but I've become so cynical about new releases. Like if there's a new Street Fighter, I just know there is gonna be day 1 dlc to unlock characters on the disc. I know these are businesses but Capcom, CodeMasters, Epic Games and EA have done some real dickish decisions recently. Bought DiRT 3 and oh look dlc already selling cars which were shown in the trailer. On Gear of War 3 I have to buy dlc to use dedicated servers unless I want to play TDM. Then there are friends of mine who spend £40 on virtual players for Fifa...

All of the great speculation topics, the normal topics are buried with stupid ass repetitive topics about conspiracies, angry people, just stuff like that.

This is a gripe I have with a lot of companies and even works projects these days, they will plan a release/completion date for example in June, and then announce that it's put back to August, or in this case with GTA:V from Spring to September, online retails have this same issue.

 

When really they should be saying we are due to complete in September, but internally aiming for an earlier date so it makes them look better, same for GTA they should have said Winter 2013 (that's late 2013 not the first few months) then BOOM surprise September . Online retailers give a shipping date of 3-5 days and say it will be delivered on day 3, really they should say day 5, so when it turns up on day 3... it's a bonus, yay.

 

Reverse psychology we should use it more to make you look better... hell it works for Scotty in Star Trek.

I am genuinely upset they delayed the game again, I have pretty patiently waited out the few years for the game and it finally looked like it was close to release, but they delayed it. It's so disappointing, there is no great mid-year release, it's just going to be one among the other Block-busters releasing at the end of the year.

I don't really mind waiting, but it's a bit of a sinking feeling that's for sure.

 

God damnit! Why can't they just be on time with their releases for once? The whole reverse psychology would have been a much better idea, rather than getting hopes up only to drop them like a crystal ball onto concrete.

 

I doubt however they are releasing too close to Next Generation consoles, I am sure the leaders of T2 or R* know exactly when those will be out and plan accordingly.

 

But I suppose sh*t happens, and being upset about it isn't going to bring the release closer.
