matthew1g
I've been trying to get on apple's site to check out the new ipod shuffle and the macbook. Yet the browser crashes when the apple logo loads. I've tried getting on it using: Firefox 2.0Opera IE7 avant browser all of them crash. It only happens when I get on www.apple.com . Every other site works fine. what's the problem?
facugaich
The site loaded well for me, but I got a tab (in IE7) saying the site wanted to use QuickTime. I think that may be your problem, since it's crashing in every browser. Maybe you've got a broken QT? Try un/reinstalling it? Before doing that you can give www.apple.com low security rights and see if it works. You do that through "Internet Options"->"Security" for IE, don't know the others. (I think you can't/don't need to do it on FireFox)
matthew1g
I had just deleted Quicktime yesterday I'll try reinstalling it to see if it works. :EDIT: I just noticed that all the other sections of the site work fine. Just the homepage lags.. Edited December 28, 2006 by matthew1g
