San Andreas Nut
for me its probably WMP, the latest version 11, easy to use and stuff. many of you probably use Itunes because of your ipods. what do you use? oh and can anyone tell me what music player uses the least amount of memory and space? Waste
I've been using iTunes for it's better equalizer. I used to use Winamp, but the changes they made cut down on the sound quality, besides the fact that the interface is annoying now.
Raindancer
All i really use my music player for is saving tracks to my HDD to transfer to my MP3 Phone. So i only use REAL. I know i should really change it.
Vanillainy
Yeah, the new WMP. Never used a different Music Player, don't see the need to. Just have a Music Folder and WMP, easy.
Brutuz
PSP I have it connected to my Speakers in my 5.1 system on the telly, and I have the computers speakers on low Vol. Or I use SA when playing SAMP

TenaciousD.
WMP11 is my favourite, looks good and simple to use.

the_darkside_986
XMMS is my favorite because I was able to find a plug-in for it to play mpegs and mp3s. I use Banshee now most of the time since XMMS didn't come with the system that I'm currently using and I haven't installed it yet. I use RealPlayer to listen to Chronix Aggression radio stream (internet metal/nu-metal radio station). I think XMMS would also work for that. Whenever I have to boot into Windows I always use Windows media player even though I hate it. It's so evil but it works really well.
Forfit
I flip between Winamp and WMP every now and then, i don't see a problem with either of them, i mean they both play music...
Canoxa
So far, I've used Windows Media Player, Winamp, Media Monkey and iTunes. My favourite from those was the last, iTunes. It looks good and it handles good.
Loman
I use WMP11 mostly, because its got a lot of good features, and it's simple enough for my computer illiterate friends to look through my library and burn CDs. I also use Winamp for the visualizations, specifically Milkdrop and R4.
Edmachine
WinAmp FTW! I use WinAmp because it is good. And looks good. We will be the arms that lift you up We will be the hand that strike you down
GTAThomas
In the three times I've listened to music from my computer I used WMP. But the one I hate the most is MusicMatch or something. That damn program keeps finding its way on my computer some how...
Svip
My preferred player (and I am most likely alone on this one) is Rhythmbox. A simplified version of iTunes, if you will.
facugaich
I used to use winamp but then it started to be much of a resource hog and switched to foobar. When on Ubuntu I use Rythmbox, it's like foobar, but I find it to be a little more complicated to use and with less features and maybe a bit buggy. jarjar
WMP11, when I boot to Ubuntu I use Amarok. It's got a nice GUI WMP11, but just like Internet Explorer 7, that GUI causes problems with slowness and mis-rendering of things. Winamp has been and will always be my music player, skinned or not , it's an awesome software package which reaches far beyond the normal playing of music. RoAcHcliP
wmp10. I dont like the fact it organises artists in wmp11, and you cant change it as far as i could see. Just makes scrolling take longer. I just like having it all in one list
Teqila
As for hardware my PSP. On my PC I use Gom Player. It plays almost anything, it supports a lot more file types than Winamp or WMP.
Mr. Hym.
I use WMP11, because Winamp's only good quality is it's looks, and I find iTunes to be rather clumsy. However, in the last few months I have been listening to internet radio. Now I use PandoraFM, because it combines the qualities of both Last.fm and Pandora. Lost-Fender
I used to listen to music with WMP, but changed to iTunes, it's much more simple for me, I don't have iPod, though. That place has been taken by my MP3 phone already, and the walkman's for the CDs. iTunes for life.
