Zombra
Hi, my question is simple. Is there a way to use the Brown Streak to quickly travel between the stations? Can I RIDE the train as a passenger? Or do I always have to hijack it? I read that by doing the freight missions you can "ride the train for free", but it's free anyway if I just hijack it. So I think there is some way to use the trains that I am missing. Help?
Pranjal
You can ride them as a passenger. Just enter via the wagon doors and exit when the desired station comes.
tokyo984
Well as far as i know the only way you can use the trains is to hijack them, i didnt know you could ride them. But as much stealing trains as iv done in my time i highly doubt there is a way to ride the train. Unless you get on top Well I guess you can, i never knew about that tho. I'll have to check it out

s18000rpm
hey guys, dont you explore the game. in any railway station, if the "Passenger Train" arrives, just take a close look, some people will come out of the coaches/compartments. use the that door to enter the train, after you enter the compartment, the "Camera mode" goes to "Cinematic Mode". although you can change Camera angles, you CANNOT change Camera Mode. Zombra
hey guys, dont you explore the game. Uh, yes. Next time I won't post until after I spend at least an hour waiting around to see everything that might wander by a particular location, instead of just 15 minutes sitting around an empty train station. Excuse me for living.
TenaciousD.
Does it make any difference really? Its not that hard to hold down a button for a while, you go faster if you jack it anyway

Lioshenka
there is no need to watch the trains just read the GTA booklet that comes with a game it is all there
s18000rpm
we dont even have to explore, coz in one San Fierro Mission, Tenpenny gives us a task to kill a reporter, when you follow that reporter, he'll board that train.
Zombra
Does it make any difference really? I don't know, since I've never ridden as a passenger; that's why I asked! Thanks again folks.
Zombra
Whoa, I finally rode the Brown Streak as a passenger, and it rules. You can hit a key to simply skip ahead to the next station. Fast travel is what I was looking for this whole time. Beats the heck out of holding down a key for 3 minutes. Now the question is: is it worth it to stand around the train station waiting for a train going the right way to avoid just driving there myself? Hmmmmm
Benjimino234
When i want to take the train i always get 2 the station then see the train has just left but i did ride in it eventually is good to escape the cops?
hanzel2m
Cops can't touch you if you're in the train but it's better if you Drive the train, coz it's more fun, and faster also can't remember if you could skip the scene while you're on the train can you? coz on LCS you can't, which Sucks you can't ride the Brwon Streak one on top, you can ride the one that brings those trailer things, coz if you stand on top, the tunnel won't be able to fit you and yes, even if you duck down, you still don't fit
Timpo
yes, you can press a button to skip to the next station.

xNamexTakenx
Okay, nevermind. I used the train today when I went to Unity Station. It's cool, man! I travelled throughout all of San Andreas!
HolyGrenadeFrenzy
Does it make any difference really? Its not that hard to hold down a button for a while, you go faster if you jack it anyway Yes, the passenger way can be much faster because you are given the option to skip to the next station just like you do when flying. Old find yet I had not done it myself until long after I had heard about it and disbelieved the possiblity. Yes, you can ride as a passenger on the passenger train and all you need to do is a normal vehicle entry on the proper area of the train, so you do not accidentally hijack it instead of ride, and sometimes one side is easier than another. zmoonchild
Hey, zmoonchild where you got busted did you stop the train? I triggered a Wanted Level, then headed over to Unity Station just as a train was approaching. I entered the passenger car as the train was slowing down, then the police 'Busted' me as the train came to a stop. Previously, I had tried using a Passenger Car as a way to avoid the cops in San Fierro while that area was still locked and I had a 4-Star Wanted Level, that's when I first discovered that you can get 'Busted' while inside the Passenger Car. GTA hater
I always get a boner when I'm trainriding. It's so exciting when you speed up and ram cars and everything.
