Acidify
Hey, I searched through google on this topic but couldnt find a good answer. When you guys record a video on GTA using FRAPS, what FPS do you use? I want to know for GTA III and San Andreas. When I record GTA III using FRAPS, it lags like crap during ingame, but when I convert the movie into a normal size it runs smoothly??? Why? Its really frustrating to record videos while you cant play the game as you want it to be. Just to let you know, I use these setting when recording Half-Size 30 fps Record Sound - Detect best sound input So please tell me what FPS you guys use when recording for GTA III and San Andreas. Thanks! Edited December 28, 2006 by sokz
Justin
I use 30 with no lag. It will depend on your memory - free up as much RAM as possible by ending non-essential processes such as anti-virus.
radioman
I use 30fps with none to very little lag on vice city and GTA 3, but with San Andreas, I have to drop it to like 15-20fps to get the same effect. Like Fuzzy Juzzy said, it depends o your system's memory and to end all non-essential processes and/or change the fps in the fraps program. Hope this helps. TenaciousD.
About 30FPS usually, closing all unused programs makes it alot smoother
