GTA_Loco
I just thought I’d share this little trick how to achieve an unbelievably long stoppie time using a motorbike, since there maybe some people here who might still take an interest on this especially those who are into establishing some records in the game. I believe previous topics in this forum didn’t mention anything about this trick yet, so I’m sharing one that I think is a curiousity. If this is old news, thanks anyway for reading. The deal here though involves a rather unconventional method, but definitely not one resorting to a cheat code or a device. It’s simply doing a stoppie using a PCJ 600 or a Sanchez (other motorbikes might not suit becuase of their size and weight) while partially submerged into the water. The water can help in balancing the bike for you when you lift its rear to perform the stoppie. Somehow the game reads it as if you’re doing a regular stoppie, so that the time registers, although the distance doesn’t register much if it doesn’t register at all. You will remain stationary in one spot very much similar to the BMX trick. Here’s basically how it looks like: You don’t have to go deep into the water though. You only need to submerge the tires so that you can lift the rear one conveniently, and while holding the L3 button (PS2) continuously. There’s just one catch here: your lung bar will also appear and will continuously decrease that can also eventually affect your heath just like when you dive underwater. But even if this will be the case, you can still achieve a record time of about 200+ seconds for your stoppie time. You must terminate the stunt though before you get wasted or the record won’t register at all. However, there’s one aspect of this method (although quite tricky and might be a bit hard to achieve) that you can utilise to fill up your lung bar again so that you can increase your chance of doing the stunt for a much more longer time, and that is depending on the water’s wave to bob up the rear tire when the water recedes and make the tire very barely touch the floor. For some reasons, this will consequently reset your lung bar to full again. You will notice too at this point that the mufflers will emit smoke as if your bike is at level again. As long as the rear tire doesn’t touch hard on the floor, your stoppie stat won’t register yet. This can just take a lot of attempts given that the waves magnitude is beyond your control and it can be quite unpredictable, so a lot of times your bikes rear tire would touch hard on the floor and your stoppie will terminate prematurely. But given the right calculations, and positioning of the bike, you can be able to attain a ridiculously long stoppie time. Have fun

Saget
Who cares, it's the distance that matters. I can do a wheelie along most part of the Julius Thruway in Las Venturas. But the stoppie is harder, the bike gets out of control after some time =P |DeviantArt|Flickr|YouTube|#amf|
