Venom
Gorillaz - Gorillaz is an alright album, seems to work for me.
Vanilla Shake
I'd have to say "Walking On The Moon" by The Police. It's slow-paced and relaxing at the same time. TC718 / <629 / CF5
Paco
I always found The Postal Service or Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works albums useful in cases like these. Or anyone of the hundreds of 'relaxing classical' albums. The latter is f*ckin' brilliant.

The-King
I fell asleep to Sonata Arctica last night, and before that I fell asleep to Cryptopsy, so I can pretty much fall asleep to anything. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

-shaDow
Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas Helios - Eingya Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun My Bloody Valentine - Loveless Eluvium - Talk Amongst the Trees Stars of the Lid - The Tired Sounds of Stars of the Lid Mum - Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today is OK Tim Hecker - Harmony in Ultraviolet Air - Moon Safari Slowdive - Souvlaki Brian Eno - Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks I have tons more albums that are conducive to sleep but these are the cream of the crop for the most part. And to the guy who was wondering what BoC album to get next, Music Has the Right to Children is my personal favorite but you can't go wrong with anything they've put out, though The Campfire Headphase is easily their worst. "Roygbiv" is the best song.
San Andreas Nut
cool list, that would be me, I have the Campfire Headphase & settled on Geogaddi. really? I thought the CFHP was really good, first album I heard of theirs, first song that I heard was off an EP though, In a beautiful place out in the country I'll try & get that song "roygbiv" red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet? = white light? Goodfella.
Aside from the recommendations like Boards of Canada and Sigur Rós, my own experience is I can't sleep to anything with a real sing-song melody or the likes, my head gets caught up in the song and I can never doze off.. Aye, same. When I was away I actually managed to kinda hypnotise myself with Mogwai's Come On Die Young. I'd pass right out between the start of Cody and the end of Helps Both Ways, though on occasion I'd be awoken halfway through the next track, as it got too loud. I find Jose González very soothing too. Though to be honest, I very rarely go to sleep listening to music whilst I'm at home.

AndyinEngland.
And, however emo it may be at the moment, I quite enjoy the dull repetitive bass drum used throughout Death Cab for Cutie's Plans album, another nice one to fall asleep to although it does have words and I tend to find that anything with words is hard to not concentrate on. No Escape?
I always found Floyd's Atom Heart Mother to be quite relaxing. The tunes are all more or less relaxed...I'm usually fast asleep by If.

jimmy.
If you like Boards of Canada to relax to, check out some M83. Sigur Ros is always an obvious choice. I tend to stick a bit of Post Rock in the mix and all. If you like M83, I suggest you try Ulrich Schnauss or Slowdive to fall asleep to. They're along the same lines and I use them to fall asleep to.
