Pat
This figures. I finaly got it for PC for Christmas, and I was so excited about SAMP and all of that. So I take it out of the packaging, put it in the DVD drive, and guess what? The auto-run doesn't work. I go to My Computor and check out the DVD drive folder and it says "Please Insert A DVD". I put a different DVD game in there and it reads it. I checked the system requirements, and I meet all of them. I'm fixing to just take it back to Walmart. Any ideas? And like I said, it's not the DVD driver because it's reading my other DVD games and DVD movies just fine.
Vanilla Shake
I'd say take it back. If your other games work for your computer, and you meet all of the recomendations, then I don't see any other reason why it shouldn't work. I hope that you get the game workin' pal. Brutuz
Take it back, if the replacement doesn't work slap Walmart with a fish and get a refund and buy it somewhere else.
Justin
Take it back, if the replacement doesn't work slap Walmart with a fish and get a refund and buy it somewhere else. If not a single copy of the game from Walmart will work, it won't work from anywhere. The problem will probably be your own PC, but I'm not sure as to what exactly. Try disabling CD emulation/burning software (e.g. Daemon Tools, Clone CD, etc.) in case they're causing conflict with SA's copy protection. Pat
Heh, well, this sucks. I tried it in my laptop today, and the autorun ran fine. The only things I can think of that you mentioned Fuzzy would be Limewire or the no-CD crack on my warez.
Brutuz
Dude, it ain't LimeWire or the No CD, I got them both too and mines working fully, I think your DVD drive is at fault here.
