This question has been asked many times recently so by using the search tool you’ll have questions answered very fast. As for LCS on the PC it's complete rumour at this point, but I would say the chances get less and less as time goes on. It came out on PSP last year and on PS2 earlier this year if Rockstar had planned a PC release some sort of news or information would have been released by now. Raymond Luxury-Yacht Posted January 20, 2007 Share Posted January 20, 2007 ^ That's a good point; obviously a PC-version entails several enhancements among which I can imagine a new set of textures, perhaps even higher-polygon 3d models, and a host of other things----the result would have to be not so much a port, as a completely new game. R* simply can't afford to release a game on the PC that looks blatantly inferior compared to SA; and improvement on that front alone, I imagine, implies work worth a complete new game (sans the plot, animations, etc.). Now don't start saying graphics are not of prime importance in GTA; I know that, and I would love to play LCS and VCS on the PC regardless of chunky models and lo-res textures. But I don't see PC versions of these games as a possibility unless R* devotes one of their relatively less busy divisions to the conversion business. richard the pissed Posted January 20, 2007 Share Posted January 20, 2007 but the ps2 versions graphics was unbelievably horrible. i couldn't play it if lcs would come to pc it must be at least like gta-sa 's graphics... listen, we all know you wanted to post bullsh*t, but why three times? for the record, LCS PS2's graphics were much better than the sh*theap that was san andreas. i don't give a sh*t about the blurry car headlight textures, or the fact that the least looked at part of a gta car (i.e, the interiour) had low res textures. the relection mapping was the most awsome thing ever to date, and the lighting efects around the town were brilliant. the only reason you couldn't play it was because you couldn't see the screen from the inside of your own ass. If there was a LCS for the PC then it would have come out already because two years have like already passed since LCS came out. Besides that would be a new round of sales for them. On the other hand, I'll get goth LCS and VCS on the ps2 sometime next month and borrow a friend's ps2 on which to play them.
