vint_cool
The Wii version of PC's excellent FPS - Farcry has been released with the gamespot rating of 5.5 ! I remember the pc version getting above 9 ! I've played it too and I felt it was one of the best FPS made for PC ! link: http://www.gamespot.com/wii/action/farcry/...reviews;story;0 What I dont understand is why dont these gamemakers leave FPS out to just PC and concentrate on some other type of games - third person for ex to the consoles ? FPS without a mouse is no FPS, when will the gamemakers understand this ?
Pranjal
The PS2 was a no show with Far Cry because it couldn't handle the intensive graphics used in the game. So, it was pulled off . Maybe they can release it for the PS3 now. The PC version was breathtaking and I rate it only after Quake 3 Arena among the best FPS games of all time. SmellyJelly
The PC version is the only good one because of the gameplay. None of that stupid monster-power stuff. You need to be stealthy and hide in the plants. Very long game too, it took me about twenty hours to beat, and it's also quite difficult. I was looking forward to the Wii version too. I really want a first person shooter for the Wii, but I guess I'll get Call of Duty.

GTA3Freak-2001
When done right a FPS can be great on a console, such as Halo and too a certain extent Halo 2 but there does seem to be problems when a PC FPS gets a console treatment. As far as the Wii version, the last screenshots I saw looked god-awful but that I am guessing is a result of the Wii not being extremely powerful and that the screenshots weren't final ones. Aiming with the control and such sounds like loads of fun.
Greene
I liked Far Cry. The gameplay was excellent but its only flaw was the story. It sucked. I don't know if other people enjoyed the story but I thought it was a big let down.

I don't know if other people enjoyed the story but I thought it was a big let down. Nah, I felt the story was good but the ending sucked big time! I googled for "farcry lame ending" and got quite no. of hits as well ! @ E.A.B, I dont have a Wii, but just a question - can you use the wii controller like a mouse? I last heard that you cant ! But I may be wrong Edited December 29, 2006 by vint_cool
Jordan
Gamespot gave Zelda a lower score than 50 other publications. I don't trust them anymore.
Greene
Gamespot gave Zelda a lower score than 50 other publications. I don't trust them anymore. Gamespot always gives the lowest scores for games. I used to use Gamespot but now I use IGN. Their more reliable in my opinion.

Kippers
Gamespot hate everything, don't trust their reviews. Also, don't make your decision on any review, it's just one persons oppinion out of 20 or so other people that could have been given that game to review and mark higher. 習うより慣れろ
SmellyJelly
The problem with professional reviews is that they tend to get extra points if the game is popular.
