MMFF
No, it isn't a typo, this is my first attempt at a series. I figured this might be some fun. If you like it let, me know. If you hate it, let me know, and rate topic accordingly. If people are interested, I will continue with the next chapter. Not sure when it will come out though due to Christmas. A Big Delivery Jace Cooper: She's on fire, fire, fire!!!!!! I'm not much of a singer, but I just couldn't help singing that stupid song. It seemed like it was on the radio ever half hour. As the song came to an end I switched off the radio. I was only a few minutes away from my destination. Cipriani's Ristorante. Unlike most people, I wasn't going there to get food. I was dropping it off. Yeah thats right, I am a pizza boy. It aint much of a living, but I didn't even graduate highschool. Well, not many people do in Liberty City, but thats just the way things are. I wasn't really sure why I was delivering a pizza to a restaurant, but then again I didn't really need to know. I just do what my boss tells me to do. But why I was delivering the pizza was the least of my worries. You see, the man who ordered the pizza was a mister Toni Cipriani. Now all the locals know who Toni Cipriani is. He is one of those made men in the Leone Family Mafia. Hell, he might even be the new Don soon, now that Salvatore is dead. Yeah, Don Salvatore Leone was killed a few months ago. That worries me even more because I am sure that the short tempered Toni Cipriani is not going to be in a good mood. That is why I am trying to get there as fast as possible. If I am late he might just break my nose. I can hold my own in a fight, but after the death of the Don, I am sure they have pretty heavy security with some pretty powerful weapons. Me on the other hand, I stand around six feet tall, I have brown hair, brown eyes, two hundred twenty pounds and I'm armed with a large pepperoni pizza. As I pulled up into the small dirt parking area, I was suprised to see only one man standing at the entrance way. He was about my height, nicely dressed and had a slightly crooked nose. I grabbed the pizza and climbed out of the car. As I approached the man gaurding the way to the patio, he straightened out his jacket and locked eyes with me. I stared right back at him, trying not to show any fear. As I got closer, he extended his hand giving me a signal to stop. So I stopped and just held the pizza. He walked over to me and patted me down. He made sure I didn't have any weapons and then he spoke. Leone Mafia Member: Open the box! I opened the box and the man looked to make sure that there was a pizza and a pizza only. He seemed saticefied and then he spoke again. Leone Mafia Member: Go on in, Mr. Cipriani is waitin' for ya. He stepped to the side and leaned up against the brick wall. I walked up the small steps onto the patio area. There was a bunch of picnic tables around but only one was occupied by someone. It was the table closest to me. There sat one man. Toni Cipriani! He was a little overweight, and seemed to be aging since the last time I had seen him, which was on the telivision. He was all over the news before he went to prison a while back. I slowly walked over to the table and spoke. Jace Cooper: Uhh, Hello, how are y- Toni Cipriani: Shhhhhh. Be quiet. Just give me the pizza. He held out a twenty dollar bill as I set the pizza down on the table. I grabbed the money and shoved it into my pocket. I was then startled by a rather loud womans voice. Ma Cipriani: Toni, who are you talking to down there! Toni Cipriani: Nobody Ma! Ma Cipriani: Ok. Are you hungry Toni?! I just made up some spaghetti! Toni Cipriani: No Ma, I'm not that hungry. Maybe later. I pulled a stack of money out of my pocket to give Toni his change as he spoke again in a whisper with a mouth full of pizza. Toni Cipriani: Don't worry about the change. And by the way, there was a death in the family recently. Ever since then, Ma's food has tasted like crap. Thats why I ordered a Pizza. I nodded slightly and I was happy that I found out why he ordered a pizza. I tried to be as respectful as possible as I answered. Jace Cooper: Sorry to hear about the death, and....uh....the bad food. He gave me a nod of respect and I was very pleased with that. Just that moment the guard that was out front came running past me to speak to Toni. I slowly turned around and walked away but tried to listen in on what the guy was telling Toni. He spoke quickly and sounded worried. Leone Mafia Member: Mr. Cipriani, Mr. Cipriani. Maria is in trouble! I just got a call from her on my cell phone! She couldn't talk long, but she said she was down at the docks! You want me to drive boss? Toni Cipriani: Hell no, you can't drive for sh*t! Hey you! Can you drive? I turned around and pointed to myself, like there was anyone else he could have been talking to. He nodded and had a look of desperation on his face. My heart raced as I answered his question. Jace Cooper: Uhh, I drove here. Toni Cipriani: Well, you gotta be better then this jackass! Mario, you stay here! Pizza boy, you gotta name? Jace Cooper: Yeah, it's Jace...Jace Cooper. Toni Cipriani: Well Jace, come with me, we're taking my car! We ran back down the small steps. Toni led the way to his car. He yelled for me to get in and I hopped in his Mafia Sentinel. I waited for Toni to run around and get in the passanger side. I pulled out of the parking area as Toni ordered me to get to the docks and to get there fast. I didn't know what I was doing or what I was going to do when I got there. I drove as fast as I could and we arrived at the docks in a few minutes. As we pulled in Toni told me to stop and to get out. As I was getting out I saw him reach for something from under his seat. He spoke to me as he tossed me a gun. Toni Cipriani: You ever shot a gun before? Jace Cooper: Only in a video game. Toni Cipriani: Well this aint no video game, kid. I followed Toni's lead as we ran around a big building with a bunch of garage doors on the side of it. There was a securicar sitting in one of them. After we got arround the building Toni stopped and so did I. I was scared to death of what might happen. I knew I should have called in sick today. Toni looked around as if he didn't know where to go. Afther a few moments we heard a woman's voice screaming. We ran towards it after Toni had told me that it was Maria's voice. Maria: Please...please...I swear I didn't call anyone for help! We ran around the corner just in time to see a rather large man smack Maria in the face, knocking her to the ground. There was quite a few men standing around there. It must have been some small time street gang because they werent wearing any gang uniform. Toni shot at the guy and hit him right in the neck. After that the other men all turned focus towards us. Toni was standing in front of me and started unloading rounds of bullets into the men. They were only holding knives and baseball bats. Toni took out all of the men. Not all of them were dead, but they werent in any shape to even stand up. Toni ran over to the rather sexy looking Maria and grabbed her by the by the arm and to follow us to the car. Just then another man had come from behind a building with a baseball bat and got ready to hit Toni in the head with it. I quickly lifted my gun towars Toni as a look of betrayal overcame his face. I shot the gun and the bullet hit the man right in the head. He fell to the ground with a loud thump which caused Toni and Maria to turn and look at him. Toni quickly turned back to me with a smile on his face as he spoke. Toni Cipriani: That must be one hell of a video game! Jace Cooper: The best. We all walked back to the car and got in. Toni gave me the instructions to Maria's apartment, which was not too far away from the restaurante. Maria, who was in the back seat leaned up in between the seats and kissed Toni on the cheak and then kissed me on the cheak. She walked slowly around the car and I eyed her up all the way to her door. She stopped and turned around and spoke. Maria: Bye Toni. Bye Fido. She walked into her appartment and closed the door. I looked at Toni with a puzzled look on my face. Jace Cooper: Fido? Toni Cipriani: That's what she used to call me when we were together. Kid, I know the wrapper looks good but I wouldn't open the present if ya know what I mean. I laughed a little bit as I could already tell that she is the kind of girl that gets into a lot of trouble. I drove Toni back to the resturante. Before he got out of the car he looked to me and spoke. Toni Cipriani: You keep the car kid. You earned it. It's better then that piece of sh*t you drove here. Jace Cooper: Thank you Mr. Cipriani! Toni Cipriani: And if you're lookin' for work, we sure could use the help these days. You know where to find me if you're interested. See ya around kid. He got out of the car and I turned around in the parking area. As I drove out of there, I could hear Toni's Ma yelling about finding a pizza outside on the picnic table. I whiped the sweat from my forehead as I drove back to my appartment. I thought about what just happend. I pushed the gun Toni had given me under the seat to hide it. I thought about the offer that Toni had given me. For some reason I knew one hundred percent that I would take him up on that offer. I knew I would drive again, I knew I would kill again, after all...I just do what my boss tells me to do. THE END Please rate topic good or bad. Let me know what you think. Give me any tips if you feel I am doing something wrong. I am open to all opinions.
