I nned help with vcmm

i downloaded a mercedes moving van or something like that and replaced it with a swat truck and the thing is the light doesnt turn green but it still replaces the swat truck in the game and it looks weird but i cant uninstall the mod what shall i do??

I don't use vcmm mods very often so forgive me if I'm missing something, but wouldn't your installer have an 'uninstall' function?

well you see when i downloaded the vehicle and replaced the swat truck woth it the green light didnt pop up thus making it so you cant un install it ill put up a screen.

The only way to have solved this problem, was to back up the original data before installing any mods.

 

But my guess is that you didn't, so your probably gonna have to re-install the game if its that important.

Well, we all know from common sense and logic that either the mod is crappy, or the installer is. Try it with another installer. If it doesn't work, help us all good people out by saying something on the topic or posting some type of comment where you found the mod. And are you saying you didn't make any backups?? Well, you learned the hard way I'm lucky I backed up my handling.cfg once cuz I made the taxi fly off the map in roughly 2 seconds . Like 92F said, backup, and spread the word. And I never used an installer so is it like you have a mod in a .zip and the program just replaces the files where it should be? If the file has things like handling.cfg, main.scm, well it's just files you can replace by yourself. That way you know which ones to backup. Easy.
