VCS Cheatdevice Breaks ALL sound.

Some background information first. I'm running D_A's 3.02 OE-A custom firmware, with only two modules loaded (mp3prx for this specific firmware, and vcs cheat device). I've tested loading the mp3 prx without cheat device, and it works like a wonder in VCS. However, when i load both VCS CD and MP3 PRX, all sound is broken, this includes: The intro titles, ANY sfx and all music. For all who wish to run their own tests, the prx is available at http://brentp.net/mp3prx_04_final.zip.

 

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using CD on 3.02oe-a and I have sound

if your running the game as a cso then that's your problem. since OE-A is forced at the default clock speed the game doesn't have time to load the audio.

 

buy the umd and you should be fine.

My previous post stipulated that i was running the "mp3 prx" that was modified to work in 3.02 OE, from irshell. My problem is that when i use cheatdevice and the mp3 prx at the same time, all audio seems to not work, however, when i run them seperate of each other, they seem to work flawlessly. If you wish to try the prx yourself, the link to it is in my previous post. Controls: note key + L1 = start/pause playback; note key + dpad left/right = next or previous track.
