want to use cheatdevice. currently on FW 2.81

hello,

 

i would like to ask if there is any way or me to use cheatdevice for gta vcs (UMD) on my psp 2.81. i originally had fw 2.6 (i think) and i was playing gta lcs with cheatdevice (save file version) which was great. then i upgraded the fw to 2.7 for tekken DA. then 2.71 for loco roco. all of which these games are UMDs which i purchased. i am interested in downgrading my psp to a 2.71SE-B" (a.k.a. 2.71SE-B2 or 271SE-Bv2). may anyone help me? my sole purpose is to be able to use cheatdevice on gta vcs and gta lcs. the cheatdevice on gta lcs no longer works cue to the fact that i upgrade my psp to a fw above 2.7, the savefile just does not work (corrupted of sumthing like that). i read my other posts which have said that sumthing abt 2.71SE-B" is able to play UMD games. hope somone may reply to this post.

 

i would really appreciate it of anyone can help me in the following:

use cheatdevice on gta lcs and gta vcs. (sole purpose of post)

downgrade psp fw 2.81 (factory fw 2.60) to fw 1.5.

sumhow put things like devhook0.5? and dark alex's 2.71SE-B"?so i can play downloaded games via my 1gb mem card.

Sorry, but not only is what you're asking pretty much impossible at the moment; but discussing downloaded games and helping you use them is not allowed here. We can still hope for a downgrader.

In the past few days kernel access has been achieved on 2.80 (duno about .81), and i just read a topic a few minutes ago on QJ saying a downgrader was imminent, considering the fact that 0okm released a way to use the exploit practically. Btw, if you want to know my psp history has been:

 

2.01 -> 2.60 -> 2.71 -> 1.50 -> 2.71 se-a -> 2.71 se-b -> 2.71 se-c -> 3.02 OE-A.

You really are at the moment stuck, but you maybe in luck if you wait a bit longer as I am sure something will come up based on the latest advancements with 2.8 that would let you downgrade from 2.81 or let you do the things you want through HenD or something.

 

Since we are sharing firmware history here's mine, 2.0>1.5>2.71 SE B3>Currently going to install 3.02 OE-A asap.

OE-A is the best.

just make sure you make the .dxar file yourself, since it requires your specific psp to work.

don't just download a pre-made one or you'll brick

 

there won't be a 2.81 downgrader for some time though. (even though there is a kernal explot already found, there is still no way of launching the exploit)

given the time something may come up, but I'm not sure how long it could take.

 

and as far as firmware history goes:

1.5>2.0>1.5>3.02 OE-A

If you really want to downgrade, sell your PSP and buy a 1.5 off of eBay. 3.0 is just asking for a downgrader since Dark Alex broke the protection in the Official Sony PSX Emulator for the PSP.

Well, there does not seem to be a way to downgrade right this second.

 

Here's by history:

 

 

1.52->2.0->1.5 (after a long time of staying at 2.0)->3.03 OE-A (When the Devhook upgrade gave me errors when writing to the flash)->3.03 OE-A' (Upgrading right now! )
