TheHarvesteR
hello again... i just started modding GTA:SA and its going pretty well up until now... i am making a new bike model that has no less then 9 exhaust pipes, so i was wondering if it is possible to add more than one exhaust smoke point... i havent tried my luck at adding more exhaust dummies yet, since i just managed to get the model into the game, and im not at that stage of the project yet, but i thought it might be good to know if anyone knows the right way of doing this, or if it´s at all possible... so, anyone ever tried this? thanks in advance HarvesteR
Virtual Pancake
Not promising anything but from what I heard, someone put 2 exausts on a tractor. I'll find out more and get back to you on this. Actually id like to do this too. Catloaf for your thoughts?
DexX
there is only one actual exhaust dummy. there is a handling flag, that mirrors it for the other side of the vehicle, thus producing 2 smoke effects, but thats pretty much it as far as what you can add to the model. There is another alternative, but it might be more complex than what your looking for. You can add particle effects to a vehicle via mission scripting, and within that script you activate them when the vehicle is being driven, and turn them off when it is not. this would work with a reasonable number of particles. if there is a limit with this method, i don't know it.
