Vanillainy
Well, tbh i don't know whats wrong. Ever since we have had a new GFX card (Radeon X1950) in device manager we have a exclamation next to Multimedia Audio Controller. The staus for it is : "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver." But we have downloaded every driver imaginable, tryed to reinstall the driver, countless internet searches etc. Now when i play GTA:SA on PC, i have only some sounds. When driving a car i have no engine noise etc. But when recored with FRAPS and then i watch it, it has the engine noises. Is this to with the Multimedia Audio thingy? Any way to fix it? 3niX
Well... Do you have an onboard soundcard or a separate card? Have you tried to uninstall previous drivers and then reinstalling new drivers? Has the problem also occured with another graphics card (suggest you try it, If you havent allready)? We do have a separate soundcard. We have unin/reinstalled drivers and downloade and updated all drivers. The problem has not occured with our old GFX card (Radeon x300) but it has only appeared since we put in our new one (Radeon X1950)
Waste
It's very likely you have a driver conflict. Do you know the make/model of your sound card?
