Help on manually replacing cars.

I need help with replacing cars manually. I dont know what I need or what I have to do. Basicly I want to replace the damaged Glendale with a crusty rust bucket (Pontiac Le Mans Scrapyard edition) but SAMI v1.1 wont do it without my game crahsing.

 

Please help me with modding manually.
