Is there anyway I can take screenshots playing the game? And Im a total n00b to PSP stuff, so it would have to be rather detailed, I read through edisons topic and Im so totally lost its not even funny. silencio Posted December 19, 2006 Share Posted December 19, 2006 hmmm....tat was kinda rude thgirw_mas anyways...usually edison carters cheatdevice is able to take pictures and stuff...if possible...try to PM him..maybe he can help u out...i am currently using the latest PSP firmware and i understand tat in order for the cheat device to work is tat u must have a firware of 2.8 or something...i can't really help u out dude....but try PMing edison abt ur problem...hopefully u can find out a solution Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The-end Posted December 19, 2006 Share Posted December 19, 2006 You cant do it, 2.81 does NOT support any means of homebrew. Your locked out from everything, cheatdevice etc until a downgrader is released for 2.81. Don't get your hopes up for a dowgrader yet, an exploit has to be found first. vettefan88 Posted December 19, 2006 Share Posted December 19, 2006 MD unfortunately you can't take any screenshots on 2.81, but hopefully soon somehting will be made allowing it. with the advances 00km and the n00bz crew are making in the 2.81 Xloader it may be possible one day to allow 2.81 to emulate something such as devhook, allowing VCS to be run with a screenshot module. but right now, there is no way of doing it. WellsMcK Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 No when you restore default settings it doesnt lower your firmware version. thats why downgraders have come out... but if you can get it back down to 1.50 (really doubt it) then you can upgrade to dark alexs 2.71 SE-(it hink its c now isnt it)c. Then you can use EC cheatdevice and take pictures but like everyone else said theres no downgrader yet so you screwed until 2.81 has some kind of exploit. I wouldnt upgrade until then, just let your psp collect dust for a while. Edit: All restore Default Settings does is reset time, name, and ad hoc channels and stuff like that.
