Help finding a children's movie...

I've been trying to find a certain movie for a while now, and i've had no luck on finding it. So, I thought I would ask you guys if you could help.

 

I barely remember it being real actors in the begining and then turining into a cartoon later or something too that matter.

 

-Talking Chicken/Rooster guy.

-A massive flood?

-Some kid getting picked on constantly.

A crappy guess but that one with Macaulay Calkin in it where he goes into all those books like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde etc.

Nope you are correct it was The Pagemaster starring Macaulay Culkin which was half live-action and half animation. I actually remember it as I was 10 at the time, movie came out in 94.

When I saw it at the cinema, the surround sound was real cutting edge. I remember hearing the horses galloping to the right, move across screen, then galloping to the left.

 

Didnt actually get any of the movie though.

Wow, that was quite a guess for me. The Pagemaster was the only film from the 90s I could remember that had live action and animation from the 90s...apart from Space Jam...man that was a f*cking good film!
