X360 HD is being weird

Everything is fine. I turn on my 360 today to play Vegas and in the profiles part it only says 1 profile, instead of 2, and only my offline/2nd player account was there and my usual one wasnt.

 

Its not like my account is deleted from records, its just not on my HD for some reason, and I havent even touched it since last night where it was fine.

 

But the main problem is, I go to recover gamertag, and when its all done it says something like

 

" Cannot save profile onto selected storage device, please check if you have enough space or device is inserted correctly "

 

1: I havent downloaded/saved anything since last night, and should still have a couple gig left.

2: I havent moved or even touched the 360 since I brought it back here from the shop, let alone since last night.

 

I can only guess that my HD is f*cking up, but why has just that one account gone, all my saved demos and arcade games are there. And why is it messing up now when I havent done anything to it.

 

 

 

I got my 360 March this year, I already had to take it back once, when I did I kept my HD as it had all my saved data on it. Unless the HD's are faulty as of then as well I have no idea what is wrong. I will email ms right now.

 

 

 

Edit: I just checked my stored items, apparently my profile is corrupt, for what reason I dont know, I COULD delete it, but if its still not going to let me save my account onto the HD then I dont want to delete it incase it can be recovered. Also Im not sure what kinds of things I will lose, and if it doesnt matter as I will get all my achivements and things back automatically if they are stored on the internet, but I am not sure.

 

So what will I lose if I delete an online profile?

Why would it mess up on HD? Anyways, Im pretty sure you could delete it and recover it! I tried getting my brothers account onto mine but it said something about game saved been disabled on his console but it should keep yours since yours is on the original console! I believe so anyways!

It seems to have corrupted EVERY saved data on the HD for that profile, I can live with those being reset, my main concern is will it keep my online rank for RB6:V?

 

Mainly the one thing I care about and It took me f*cking ages.

 

 

Im guessing it wont let me recover untill I have deleted the corrupted files, but I dont want to do that untill Im sure it cant be fixed or that I wont lose much.

Im pretty sure it will keep your rank, its embedded into the servers of RB6. Its like Madden, it will keep your record!

Pretty much! Becuase I took shut off my ps2 before it was done saving and it was f*cked, so yeah its gone!

Alright its all fixed.

 

 

I deleted the profile alone, not with all the files associated with that profile, once I downloaded my profile again They got re assigned to the refreshed account.

 

The only thing I had to redo was my theme.
