matthiasvegh
ive got an idea which would help noobs. the problem is, i cant make it coz my total of programming languages is:0 anyway, the idea would be that the program would open config.ini and with an upper map u would just drag and drop cars pickups etc. this would be a much more user friendly interface, but it would be the same thing, like i said, i cant do it coz i cant program i was hoping someone like statico or some1 could make it. Vercetti Gangsta
I'm sorry, but that would almost be... Impossible? Correct me if I'm wrong. But how would you do the 'Y' coordinate when the map differs in height everywhere? 'X' and 'Z' shouldn't be a problem... But a map isn't 100% correct anyway. So objects, vehicles etc. would probably be displaced. The best way is to use the build mode. Or, use moomapper (It's more advanced though. Not newbie friendly). To use build mode, simply rename your "gta-vc" file into "gta-vc -d". Double click it, and you'll be going into build mode. Once you're ingame, do "/build". For spawning vehicles, do "/v <ID>" or "/vehicle <ID>". Without the "<" & ">" ofcourse. Same way to change skin. "/skin <ID>".
matthiasvegh
i wanted to ask about build mode, gta-vc.exe? if i rename it, vcmp wont start if i rename gta-vc.scm, it crashes is it even in vcmp? and what moomapper?? thnx the map would probably do Y by putting on the groun. it could make a wireframe, so you cant move things analog and mess it up. Vercetti Gangsta
i wanted to ask about build mode, gta-vc.exe?if i rename it, vcmp wont start Well ofcourse VC-MP won't start. You only rename it if you want to go into build mode. You don't use the server browser... You just double click the file and you're there. if i rename gta-vc.scm, it crashes is it even in vcmp? There's no such file. However, you shouldn't be touching the .scm files. There's no need to. and what moomapper?? It's an application done for VC for object placement. http://www.chronetal.co.uk/gta/index.php?page=main

matthiasvegh
okay i take it all back, i know it all now. hot does /save work, does save the current pos of all vehicles, or where they were spawned?
Vercetti Gangsta
I believe it's their current position. It should be saved inside a new txt file done on your VC directory.
matthiasvegh
quite crap actually it only gives about 8 cars, plus if i die, it keeps my coords aswell, which however is a brilliant idea could you put objects in here?
