He's like Dave Chappelle minus being black and anything remotely original or funny. Bartleby Posted December 25, 2006 Share Posted December 25, 2006 I think Carlos Mencia is funny in small doses. That Comedy Central Presents special he did, I thought that was great. When he got his own show, I thought the pilot was hilarious and couldn't wait for the next week's episode. After the second though, I got tired of his kind of humor; seemed like the same jokes recycled every time.
