Touge
Not a fan of it's looks. Although, it looks to have borrowed some styling cues from the hulme F1: I'd take an Ultima over that thing.
Iminicus
The Hulme F1 is a Kiwi car. And the Veyron is the world's fastest street legal car, granted it costs $3 million USD. That care is sexy GTA3.
Brutuz
It looks like pure sex for me, but then I love the Ariel Atom and the Redback Spyder.

uzer
They don't give a top speed so "world's fastest" is kind of ambiquous. Maybe quickest. Touge: I doubt they ever even looked at that monstrosity. Most cars designed from an aerodynamic standpoint follow the same general pattern. Look at F1 and LMP cars. And that's basically what you're getting with this thing, a street legal F1 car. Though I doubt it'll ever be legal in the U.S.
Dup
I thought it was the Brabus TKR that was the fastest... Still, Its not about being the fastest at the end of the day. I love the brutality of the Koenigsegg CCX
simplyunkillable
if manufacturers actually cared about aerodynamics, cars would have dimples in the bodywork, like a golf ball. the current problem is that air is sticking to smoothy surfaces. take away the smooth, and you take away the drag. *gta star*
That car is the ugliest thing that I've ever seen... I mean, compare it to the car that Dup posted. ... There's just no comparison.
MindCorrupt
I know what i'd rather die in Too many claiming to be the worlds fastest nowadays though, way too confusing . But either way, i reckon the porsche looks far meaner and sexier than any of those...
uzer
if manufacturers actually cared about aerodynamics, cars would have dimples in the bodywork, like a golf ball. the current problem is that air is sticking to smoothy surfaces. take away the smooth, and you take away the drag. Disregarding the obvious differences in velocities, shape, size and purpose between a golf ball and a car, dimples function in the exact opposite way of what you described. The dimples delays the time it takes for air to separate from the ball's surface in order to reduce drag by reducing the turbulence it experiences. This helps favor lift, which is exactly what car manufacturers avoid in order to keep their cars on the ground. That is, drag is needed in the form of downforce or videos of your car doing a backflip and crasing at speed will wind up all over youtube. Though I doubt it is too, i was just quoting what the guy said in the video. The McLaren F1 goes lie 230MPH and its legal so I dont know where this guy got his info! lol

Bullsh*t. 9.2 quarter mile 1.97 seconds to 60 with the 02 not quite 1.6, but still nothing to sneeze at the only people who say the barabus can do it in 1.67 is barabus, who, right now, as far as the internet is concerned, don't exist if we are going to go by what the manufacturer says cars can do, then the 273 mph SSC ultimate aero is the fastest. (these claims will be proven or busted in may 07) ps. look at this, they seem to have taped a zonda and a saleen together: saleen + zonda

SIP YEK NOD
the only thing that car has in common with the original is likely the shell, the only way i can see that car being street legal is through relaxed laws. besides......lets see that car turn you have to admit, that is one sweet car, even in pink
Dup
No relaxed laws, runs those speeds on pump gas and treaded tyres. Although it does have Nitrous it cannot be used legally on the UK roads. Sadly it wasn't built to turn like that of a tuned 90's saloon, but there's nothing to suggest it cannot be done. I have a fettish for rusty rubber burners. lschool beaters turn me on at the moment, even when restored, so long as they have a stupidly large engine destroying it's weight distirubtion and rear tyres. Sadly my needs have outgrown this fettish and I need to purchase a more sedate family car.

Now, I'm not trying to disprove the stats, but find me an official listing of that 0-60 time, and then I'll believe it without argument.

lurchseesu420
i think its f*ckin awesome. but your wrong about it being the fastest production car. at 200 mph its a far cry from that. but this think will definately be the best handling and accelerating production car (for a little while at least). the way this thing handles is just incredible. ive heard it can generate more g's in corners than a le mans prototype. lurchseesu420
i guess he got his words messed up. i think its supposed to be the quickest though. it does 0-60mph in 2.4-2.5 seconds. i mean my god it only weighs about 1000 pounds and has 500 bhp! JESUS TITTY-f*ckING CHRIST thats a high power-to-weight ratio. Edited December 19, 2006 by lurchseesu420

Good luck removing boundary layers on road vehicles, not even NASA has had success with that on those F-16XLs they bought off General Dynamics after the compo the F-15E eventually won. Also laminar flow is a bitch to get on a plane, let alone a car. I like these LMP-esque cars, look funky
