Duders
Ive got a Toshiba 1 gig SD card. I usually use it for my mp3 player, but for some reason my mp3 player and windows can't detect it. Well, sometimes it does flash autoplay when i plug it in but rarely. What can I do? Ive tried it on another computer, a laptop, another card reader, and a camcorder. None of it has worked. Help! Duders
Not sure, but when i put it in my mp3 player, i try to open access it's onboard memory and i becomes corrupt. weird.....I heard rumors that I could try to format it using SuSe Linux. Anyone able to confirm that?
riccbhard
It's likely that the card has been damaged by either: 1. Static (You do not have to feel the shock to damage it.) 2. Shock, such as tiny cracks in the surface 3. Corrosion on the contacts Although unlikely, it's possible somehow the data has become corrupted; especially if you have had the card near any source of a magnetic field, such as a magnet, or a high voltage device like a CRT computer monitor that isn't shielded too well. If that is the case, you could try to format it using most likely Linux.
Duders
One time, I forgot to eject it with windows. Could that have corrupted the data? Im downloading SuSe Linux to see if its just corrupt.
