Shockwave_NewOrder
Do you think any other gta3 character then Toni would have been good as a playable main character for LCS? Who would you have liked to play as? I think 8-ball or maybe Asuka
saintdave
Yeah I would have been happy as 8-Ball. Him or either Phil Cassidy, Joey Leone or Mickey. So may characters would have interesting stories and they could easily be developed over the length of a game. That’s the beauty of GTA games and the amount of characters put into them. hanzel2m
Maybe some Yakuza would be good Who's that Asian guy in LCS's Cover? Never seen him, is that the husband that Toni killed? It looks a lot younger in the cover
Warrior_Boi
Either 8-Ball or Phil Cassidy. Phil's gotta be a protagonist for a game after all he has contributed in the GTA series.
Greene
Who's that Asian guy in LCS's Cover?Never seen him, is that the husband that Toni killed? It looks a lot younger in the cover I think you're talking about Kazuki Kasen. You kill him on the Casino Roof. I think that Mickey Hamfists would of been a good alternative to play as. TonyZimmzy
I'm not sure why so many people hang off of Mickey Hamfist's nutsack.. I think he's a big dumb muscleheaded idiot Other possible protagonists: Carl! In seriousness, I think they made the right call with Toni. I couldn't see LCS working with someone like Luigi, or good ol' one arm himself, Phil.
Jay
8 Ball is too much of a secondary character to be the protagonist. The fact that he features in every game with his bomb shop should be enough exposure. For the Kasens, to play as one of them would mean that the other Kasen strand would have to be removed, and to have someone of oriental descent as the protagonist would require a certain amount of respect, which is clearly not shown in the dialogue (using words such as derivery) Plus, it took them long enough for a Carl Johnson to come along. They need baby steps. I believe Toni was a great choice, but some interaction with Claude would have been better.

I think he's a big dumb muscleheaded idiot Since when is intelligence a requirement to kill people for a living. Claude didn't come across as Einstein but he was a main character. woozie92
Phil Cassidy couldnt be, unless it was set before 1986, since he lost one arm in VC. I think Joey Leone would be a good protagonist
MMFF
It seemed to me like Joey was a little to nice of a guy to be the main character. Not that he was nice, but just not edgy enough.
Jay
It seemed to me like Joey was a little to nice of a guy to be the main character. Not that he was nice, but just not edgy enough. Plus, Michael Rappaport has loads of commitments with that sitcom of his. Also, at the Hamfists comment; he is too one-dimensional to be the protagonist. Sometimes it works out well (ie: Claude), but it has already been done, and there needs to be extremes. Either not saying a word, or never shutting up. That is why everything else works, the contrasts between Claude and Tommy, Carl and Toni. (and possibly Vic, haven't played VCS yet)
