1,1,1    # 162 red/brn    red

Well, I just skimmed through them for a second, and I'd like to know how 1,1,1 which should be near black (which is 0,0,0) is called a brownish red... dontgetit.gif

There, fixed, thanks.

Testicle, no, I'm not retarded, I have a masters degree and I teach English. I bet you thought you were addressing a teenager. Nice friendly place you have here.

Mixing colours is not as easy as it's made out to be. Plus you have to load and unload the game to test each numerical change. Also the colours will appear differently on any number of vehicles. Not just poly differences come into play.

Consider your game's number 1. 255,255,255: That's a full saturation of all three colours but it comes up white. You can get a darker colour is ways that make no sense to me. 0,0,1 is blue so dark it looks black. To make it bluish you have to give it about a 5: 0,0,5. If you mix red and yellow you hope to get orange, you do but it takes a lot more red than yellow: 255,50,0 ish. Add a little blue to that and you think it would come up brown but it just gets lighter: 200,70,90 turns out a salmon colour.

I'm just learning by experimentation. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I see my little addition to your forum more a lark than a mod.

To install just copy and paste these under you game's last colour: 126. Or if you've added colours already paste them at the end and re-number them. I think 175 is the limit to the colour listings.

It doesn't hurt to try them. You always keep those you fancy and disregard the rest.
